TV is a form of entertainment that occupies a part of my life; it doesn’t define it. Lots of the shows and movies I enjoy wete not recorded in hogh def in the first place. So I am absolutely thrilled with the performance of this TV - the nicest one I have owned - that was very affordable and fits my needs.

We took it back and exchanged it for a Sharp. We could not get that remote to work either. After lugging that one back from my 2nd floor apt, the Geek Squad recalled that their was a known issue and fix for the first remote. They showed me the fix and we were good to go. And they discounted the set and gave me an Alexa Dot for my troubles. The TV now works great (I was not impressed with the Geek Squad, in particular their 1-800 service).

Awesome sound and picture quality. Happy with the purchase. I only gave 4 stars, because i am not impressed with setting. You always need to leave current video to alter the setting. Like, If you want to customize picture brightness, you can't see the actual imapct while doing the change. Because, you need to close the video to go to setting. TV should display settings on top of video/app screen and should have dedecated button in remote.
