When you turn the TV on, it doesn't automatically go to Live TV, it goes to the Fire TV dashboard. Furthermore, Alexa only works on the FireTV dashboard. If I ask Alexa to change a channel it says "Unable to find Channel 2" (or 3 or 410 or whatever channel I ask it to change to. If I ask Alexa to go to Settings it says "I'm not quite sure how to help you with that." Basically Alexa is worthless. I've called and spent hours with Amazon tech support but the tech-expert who was working from home didn't seem to know what the heck she was doing or saying. I got this TV on Black Friday for less than $150 so I'm keeping it otherwise it would have been returned post haste.

Posted .Hi Dan. We understand how it is when things don't work as we intent to. Alexa has certain specific commands that you have at your disposition. You can check a list of them on the Amazon website. Try wit the "Alexa, go to CBS" (name of the channel, instead of number). Under Settings > Device and Software > Power ON you should be able to select that the TV turns on to "Last Input". You will see how easy it becomes to use. However, turning on with my Echo is a bit stressful. I have to turn it on with the remote, then turn it off handsfree with my voice before I’m able to turn it on again with my voice.

Had the adjust the picture setting from the preset as it was over driven significantly. Loading of app is easy and sound isn’t too bad. Only gripe so far is it loses connection to WiFi had to use menu to restart TV 3 times in a week (of around 1 hour each time).
