We had many inputs attached to our old TV: Cable Box, VCR/CD player, Soundbar, and laptop as needed for occasional Streaming from Youtube (for Church primarily) and Amazon(we don't watch a lot of TV). The visual quality on the Insignia was good only with Cable TV shows. We watched an old Mummy movie and both sound and visual broke up constantly. Visual content was really poor even on the Gaming option. The visual quality coming from a YouTube livestream from the laptop was absolutely horrid. And the TV would not recognize the old Sony VCR player even though it has hookups for it that match perfectly. The video quality is 1080, but I can't imagine that our old Samsung was better, but sure appears to be.

No more smart TV's

The screen came cracked in multiple places. Getting a hold of customer service took over 2 hrs to even get a live person. Ive had the same brand tv, same size that has lasted nearly 17 years. I dont anticipate this one lasting more than a year with how flimsy it is.

I thought the whole loud commercials and trouble hearing shows was a thing of the past. When the program comes on its hard to hear it and then I turn it up. Here comes a LOUD commercial .. It seems like its worse than normal. I would love to return it for a different one but I already destroyed the box.
