I purchased an Insignia 39" LED Television in 2018 and loved it, just as all of these reviewers do. However, after the first year, I noticed knocking noises coming from the back of the TV. It seriously sounded as if someone was taking a hammer and hitting the back of the television. It startled me the first time I heard it because I have never heard a noise like that before. I had to stand up and walk over to the TV to actually find out the source of the knocking. I quickly turned off the TV and then turned it back on. Noise stopped. This same scenario happens about every 2 months for no reason. I tried turning down the volume to see if that would make it lower, and even turned the channel thinking it was the audio from the station. Nope. It is definitely the television set making the thumping, knocking noise. So, I would buy the television again because it is really cheap and gives a great picture. Just don't think you will be keeping it a long time. A few years, tops. And that is sad considering that old television sets are hard to recycle in today's world. I am waiting for my to completely fail soon. If you are concerned about the impact that old televisions are on our environment, purchase a better quality television that will last at least the 7-10 years that are posted for most flat screens.

hey the TV is really amazing works so well with amazon fire stick and the price is so far less than a smart TV . Yea there's so many better over all sets with higher resolution settings but this little jewel for what it is ROCKS

I'm amazed by the quality of such an inexpensive TV. I remember the ol $1000 flat screen TV's for a half decent one; those days are way over. I've more and more started to switch my TVs to Insignia just cause I've been thoroughly impressed with the audio quality and picture. Originally, I was more of a samsung guy, but I just can't justify the price point for the same quality. The only bonus you get from Samsung (and it's pretty minor) is that they give you Samsung TV and all the other software apps implemnted in their TV, but with how affordable Roku TV or Amazon firesticks nowadays, its a no brainer to pocket the money and go on your merry day with an extra $300 to spare.. Insignia all the way

Picture is perfect!!! Love this TV, crisp and vivid even fast motion movies look great with no noticeable jittering. Best part was the low price...

I am pleased with the TV. The size is perfect. I like all the features included on the remote. However, sometimes the picture comes slightly blurry for no apparent reason.

it felt like lets try somthing no smart,and all the bells and whistles that d..come alone these days.now the insignia 43inch.it was simple,less things to go wrong.picture was great,the pixels were humming.sound was excellant,more thani expected.if you are looking for somthing bare bones this is it.the 43 "insignia is cheap and maybe somthing to take a look at.also the people at best buy were very helpful,not what you see all the time these days.

We've had this TV for quite a while and we have had no problems. The picture is clear, the colors are vibrant and the sound is great.

had a Vizio plasma that lasted 12 years. bought this tv and was pleased that the picture is crisp. use headphone jack to connect with stereo. completely satisfied. i have wifi and use roku, so didn't want the problems a smart tv seems to have with internet connections (read smart tv reviews). best tv for the money. my old plasma used a lot of energy and was hot when on. this tv is an energy saver. AND, the El Centro Best Buy has the best customer service i have received. Shop there first.

TV is great quality for a great price. Didn’t need a smart TV as I have 3 streaming devices and it’s the perfect size.

Excellent regular old tv. I had been on the look out for a new tv that didn't have all the bells and whistles that come with a smart tv. I just wanted one that hooked up to my cable box and my computer tower to play games occasionally. This model was a great price and easy to set up. The picture is incredible compared to my old tv that was 7 years old. I highly recommend. I also liked the fact that the legs were included with the tv, it made my life so much easier.

So far so good, nice picture and good sound. Lightweight and easy to attach to the wall. No complaints so far

This TV works perfectly for what I am using it for. It comes well packaged from the factory and is easy to assemble. I didn't need 4k for my purposes otherwise I would have went for another model. My only real gripe with this TV is that it is very fragile and cheaply constructed. Once you set it up don't move it around too much or touch the frame. But for $150 I will not complain.
