I thought it was a smart television for some reason. The picture quality is decent. For the price, it was worth it.

Hi JanettG, thank you for your feedback and for pointing out the lack of built-in Roku on the TV. We appreciate your honesty and will consider this suggestion for future product options. We're glad to hear you still found value in the TV despite this. Thank you for choosing our product. -Carlo, Insignia Products BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

The only good thing about this TV is the price

Good price for a large TV, but has some flaw (still don't know if hardware issue, or if it's normal for this model). When the screen is showing some darker objects, there will be a line/cluster of red dots (often flashing) along the line of the dark area. In a static picture (a jpg picture for example, not a gift) of space, there will be a lot of flashing red dots like stars...In a picture showing darker tree trunks, the trunks will have red dots flashing along the trunks. It displays fine in a complete white, black, red, or whatever color screen; looks like the crystals themself / the panel itself is okay, but some fuzzy logic issue when shoring a combination of colors. Another small issue is the lack of feature that shows the full list of channels. It's non-smart TV; TV is the point; but there isn't a channel-list feature where it shows a full list of available channels where you can browse through. There 'is' a workaround though. The add/hide channel, and the edit favorite channel features. But these two setting pages don't show program timeline info. And if you push the Enter button in these two screens, they are meant for adding/deleting channels from the two list, not the regular channel-list feature where you can browse through channels (while the screen switching through channels in the background accordingly), then Enter will confirm and Exit the channel list window. No such simple feature for this TV.

It tends to have a pop up thinking that something is plugged into the audio port. It's not dirty or picking up anything by mistake, if did this right out of the packaging. I got it defective, and even so it's an older TV. Just spring for a smart TV instead.

15 months I purchased this tv. A blue line showed up at the bottom of the tv out of no where. If you purchase this tv buy a warranty. Better yet. Not purchase at all.

Great pic, easy set-up. Only complaint is that the remote refused to work over the first few days. For some inexplicable reason, with no repairs or intervention, the remote began to work perfectly. Go figure! Otherwise, the TV has great screen appearance and resolution with very little adjustment for personal taste needed. Volume is low but usable and could be better. I just hope the TV works for a long time and does not have the ticking 1-year time bomb that Sceptre seems to use.

This is a nice simple LED TV for a very reasonable price. It's the perfect size and very easy to operate without all the unnecessary bells and whistles. It is also helpful that there is a sleep timer. The picture is very clear with full HD 1080 resolution and the 2 HDMI ports and 1 USB port is just enough.

More is better? Not always true. Sometimes just basic is better. Couldn't beat the price for the value. Just add your own Roku, Google TV or whatever. The digital tuner works great for this cord cutter. Two HDMI ports and composite. Very easy to setup and I was surprised how good the sound is. It also has a digital port for a sound bar. I bought it all for under $150 on sale. Much better than my larger family room Google smart TV that has an under powered chip running the system that will lock up when it first starts up and is loading all the fluff. This is a great bedroom, study or office size TV and was about the same price as a 32 inch! on sale.

    Huzzah For Non-Smart TVs

A non-smart TV in a sea of smart devices feels like a miracle of modern times. TV is light and was easy to mount to the wall. Picture quality is decent. Have not tested input lag. An aside, I dislike how TV's went from: CRT: Wait 5 seconds to warm up LCD: Instant On Smart LCD: Wait 5 seconds to boot. My TV shouldn't need firmware update or WiFi connections, it should turn on and display. Which this does with only a minimal boot time to show the Insignia logo.

I've been using the Insignia 43" Class N10 Series LED Full HD TV for the past two weeks, primarily for watching movies. It's important to note that this TV is a budget-friendly option without built-in smart features. Picture Quality (3/5): The picture quality is adequate, but don't expect anything too fancy in this department. Standout Features: This TV is a non-smart TV, so it doesn't come with built-in apps or advanced features. However, it's worth mentioning that it can support gaming with an external console. Sound Quality (3/5): The sound quality is satisfactory, but it's not exceptional. Consider using external speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Connectivity: So far, I haven't experienced any connectivity issues, and the TV has a variety of ports for external devices. Ease of Setup and Navigation (4/5): The TV is easy to set up and navigate, making it suitable for users looking for a straightforward experience. Remote Control (2/5): The remote control's functionality and design are basic, and it lacks advanced features. Energy Efficiency (5/5): The TV is very energy-efficient, which is a plus for cost-conscious consumers. Built-in Apps (N/A): This TV doesn't come with any built-in smart features or apps. Design and Build Quality (3/5): The design and build quality are adequate for the price. Durability (5/5): So far, I haven't encountered any durability or build-related issues. Value for Price (4/5): Considering the affordable price point of $130, this TV offers good value for those seeking a basic display. Comparison: I didn't compare this TV to other models before purchasing, but its affordability was a key factor in my decision. Compared to Previous TV (N/A): This TV doesn't apply to my previous TV, as it serves a different purpose. Overall Recommendation: The Insignia 43" Class N10 Series LED Full HD TV is a budget-friendly option that gets the job done. It's a basic display without built-in smart features, but if you connect an external smart TV device, it provides a cost-effective solution for entertainment.
