A great TV for less $$

The instructions for attaching the legs were great ! You put the TV on the box and attach the legs with just four screws. The television is light and easy to carry or place on the table. There are two HDMI ports which allow the plug to fully insert. A great picture for less $$.

Think twice

It continually modulates up & down without touching the volume control. Certain shows you have to keep increasing the volume. And then mute the commercials. Especially irritating to listen to if you’re in an adjacent area. We own another Insignia (different model) & it’s great.

We quickly learned the smart TV was far smarter than we two senior citizens and sold it. I did a search for unsmart TV's and this Insignia popped up. I ordered it in the late evening and it was here the very next day. It's GREAT! Easy to navigate, great picture and easy to install and set up.

Insignia 43" Full HD Review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly as advertised! The full HD looks great, and it fits very well into the space I imagined it in. The remote is light and very intuitive to use, and the settings menu made it easy to adjust the picture to my needs. Would not hesitate to recommend this particular tv to friends who are looking for full HD and are alright without "smart" capabilities.

Outstanding product so far

However, the 50 inch Insignia Smart TV it replaced died after only 13 months of use, so it may be too soon to make a judgement on this current. Moreover, this same 43 inch Insignia model I bought last fall had a defective HDMI 1 port from the first day I opened it, so I have been using HDMI 2.

I wasn't sure about it because of some of the reviews but I am very happy with this TV. The picture, sound and everything is great. I would definitely recommend it.
