I recently got the Insignia 45W Foldable Compact Wall Charging Kit, and I gotta say, it’s been a solid purchase. One of the best things about it is the compact design. It folds up nice and small, which makes it super easy to toss into my bag when I’m on the go. I travel a lot for work, and this charger has been a lifesaver since it doesn’t take up much room in my backpack. The foldable prongs are a great feature too – no worries about them bending or snapping when I pack it with my other gear. As for the performance, it charges my devices really fast! I mainly use it with my smartphone and tablet, and I’ve noticed that it powers them up way quicker than my old charger. The 45W output really makes a difference when I’m in a hurry and need a fast top-off. Another thing I like is that it doesn’t overheat, which is a problem I’ve had with other chargers in the past. A real good upgrade from the previous one I used. Reliable.

We bought the prior version of this charging kit and thought it was working well. However, the cord stopped working just over a year and Insignia was firm that the product was only warranted for one year only and would not replace it, but recommended to buy a replacement cord at Best Buy. I was disappointed because other brands have always stood by their products and were flexible when their product failed but Insignia does not.

Cable stopped working after a month. Hasn’t been dropped or moved.

The block stopped working after 2 days. Cord still works.

I recently got the Insignia 45 Watt USB-C Wall Charger, and it has quickly become part of my daily routine. The charging speed is particularly good. I use it primarily with my smartphone and tablet, and it charges both devices remarkably fast. For instance, my phone goes from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes, which is great when I’m in a hurry. The build quality of the charger seems premium which is an odd thing to say about a charger, but it feels sturdy and well-made. The included cable is also of high quality, which is a pleasant surprise since many chargers skimp on this aspect. The cable is long enough to reach from the outlet to my desk comfortably, and it does not feel flimsy or prone to breaking. One of the things I appreciate most about the Insignia charger is its compact design. It is small enough to fit in my bag without taking up much space, and with the foldable prongs I do not worry about it snagging on anything in my bag or equipment damage. The charger offers performance comparable to more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. This makes it an excellent choice for budget-conscious consumers who want a high-quality device. I was initially skeptical about its performance given the lower price point, but it has proven to be a reliable and efficient charger. The charger does tend to get a bit warm during use, but not hot like many others. A If you are looking for an affordable yet high-quality charging solution, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I sleep with the radio on, and this disrupts the radio signal. It will be returned for a better shielded model.

Phone chargers a dime a dozen today, but this version by Insignia is that perfect sweet spot between price and usability. It checks all the boxes you need in a charger at a reasonable price. First right out of the box you can tell it is quality product as the six foot braided cable is up to modern specs with it being USB-C to USB-C and the inclusion of rubber endpoints for longevity gives it an overall well manufactured feel. You can tell this cable isn`t going to fray or breakdown after extended use. Then the addition of the rubber tie on the cable is a small touch that is much appreciated here when it comes to cable management. Then the actual brick is extremely compact with the foldable plug, but does not feel like a cheap piece of plastic where many companies just put the bare minimum in the brick to function. The aesthetics here are just as appealing in that braided cables always have that superior appearance in my opinion and the charging brick appearance gives that very subtle higher end look with it`s multitone black/gray color. Onto the actual performance though, this thing does nearly everything you could ask for. First with the cable it not only allows for fast charging up to 240W, but also allows up to 480 Mbps transfer speeds which is great if you are transferring larger files like movies or multiple photos and documents since it transfers them near instantly. Where this product really shines though is in the fast charging aspect as the 45W power brick is absolutely perfect for nearly all portable products aside from more power hungry laptops. I found between my tablets and phone this thing was right on par with much more expensive chargers. The inclusion of it to be a PPS (programmable power supply) is perfect as it will essentially throttle the voltage and current to meet the optimal charging needs of the device it is charging. Then lastly when it comes to any charger is the USB-IF certification as this is the main thing I look for when first selecting a charger to which this charger checks that final box here for me with that certification. Overall, you can`t go wrong with this charger as from the aesthetics and build quality to the actual performance Insignia has left no stone unturned as this charger has/does everything you could ask. The inclusion of both a superior cable and charging brick in one ensures you can just buy this one time and be set to charge all your portable devices.

I bought this on May 24, 2025 and it has stopped working and now I can't take it back because it has been over the 15 day return policy I am not happy

Unfortunately this charger only lasted about two months.

I asked the clerk for a Wireless Charger as my phone's charging port is no longer reliable. After explaining the charging problem, I was handed this. As we were busy making a large purchase, I did not look closely.

I was looking for a Samsung Charging Block & Cable, but the guy at Best Buy sokd this to me. I need a Samsung Official Charger, since it may cancel the warranty.

As the title says, this is a charger that does everything it is supposed to do and does it well; and has a quality feel to it. The small size will easily fit into a single outlet in any surge protector. I’ve been able to charge a whole bunch of devices relatively fast as you would expect from a 45W charger. It is easy to fold and unfold and stays that way. It also comes with a 6 ft USB-C cable which is plenty long enough to charge from anywhere, to anything you want. The cable is braided so it has a nice high-quality feel. It snaps into the charger, so you never have to guess if it is fully plugged in or not. I’ve had other chargers that have more of a mushy feel, and you don’t know if it is actually plugged in. Not in this case. The biggest problem with the cable, and this bundle, is that the cable is very still and hard to bend the direction you want, and have it stay there. I wish it was more flexible. The cable tie that is attached to it is very easy to wrap and connect, unlike many other cable ties I have used. For charging times from empty to full: Pixel phone: 1 hr 20 min Samsung table: 3 hrs Samsung ear buds: 2 hrs Steamdeck: 2 hrs This is a perfect charger that works well with everything I have tried it with. My only complaint is how stiff the cable is, although that does help when trying to wrap it up.

The Insignia 45 Watt USB-C wall charger kit is an excellent charger. It comes with a folding 45 watt GAN charger that is incredibly light and features a compact folding plug design. This is perfect for throwing it into a bag and never needing to worry about it scratching anything or accidentally bending the plug. It also comes with a 6 foot braided USB-C charging cable that supports fast charging up to 240 watts and 5 Amps. The braiding of the cable is high quality. It easily bends and doesn't kink. and in my use I had no issues whatsoever. The combo of the charger and cable are perfect. I've been using this charger kit for several days and have been consistently impressed with its performance. It's capable of rapidly charging a variety of devices, including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and even drones. The 45-watt power output provides ample juice for even the most power-hungry gadgets. With that said, you can't go wrong with this kit. The combination of 45 Watts, solid build quality and compact design make this kit very easy to recommend.

Like everyone at this point, I've owned more than my fair share of USB chargers and this is another to add to my arsenal. Packaging: Honestly, this was the only downside to it... the Packaging is weirdly difficult to get the charger out of... I know that's a strange gripe, but once I got it open it was difficult to remove it from the box, which is just odd, but whatever. I destroyed the box and got it out. Use: It comes with a 240w cable which is great, not that a 45 watt charger needs a 240w cable but hey I'm not going to complain, to me it speaks to quality to include something like that when it isn't needed. Plugged it in, connected it to my Galaxy S21 Ultra and away it went with super fast charging. It does what's expected and is higher quality than expected, so I'm happy with it, no complaints. Overall: It's a charger, not a whole lot to say here, but the fact that it includes the 240w cable was a pleasant surprise, I'll probably end up using a less expensive cable with it and use the 240w cable elsewhere on something that actually pushes that kind of power. But overall, it's a great charger.

It can not be better than a powerful 45W Foldable Charging Kit to cover most of your device's charging needs. The kit includes the charger and cable and has a USB-C to USB-C connector. With 45 w you can definitively charge from your phone to your laptop passing through your tablet. At this moment this simplifies the need for more than one charger. I personally love the 6 ft of braided cable. The nice orange color is quite aesthetic and, very functional. Being braided, it avoids the tangles and helps to put the kit to work in no time, even if you keep it in your purse. Of course, the retractile plugs make the charger small enough to keep in your pocket. In addition to be very fast and efficient in charging, the kit seems to be durable. Insignia is a good brand from Best buy and probably one of the most cost efficient options in the shop. The only initial concern is that I wish that they could include a second-year in their basic guarantee, but I think that is robust enough not to need it.

I own a few Insignia products, mostly cases and screen protectors and the occasional cable. Insignia is a good go to when you want something affordable that does the job. The Insignia 45W USB C wall charger is a standout. It feels premium, there's a nice heft to the charger. The plugs fold down, so it's super compact. The 45W output means you can charge most laptops but it's also great for phones and tablets. I'm charging my MacBook Air as I write this and that reminds me that the cable length is a generous 6 feet. But the real standout is the high-quality USB C to USB C cable. This is a heavy duty braided 240W/5A rated power cable. The orange rubber on the end of each cable is a nice touch and makes it feels even more heavy duty (and makes it 10x easier to spot in your laptop bag). Even better, Insignia didn't go with the Velcro cable ties, but a heavy-duty rubber tie that truly secures the cable when traveling. Everything is thoughtful and premium feeling. If I had to find fault, I don't think I could and that's really a first. This is my new go to charging power adapter and cable for travel as it takes care of everything. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
