Picked up this mini fridge from Best Buy on 9/17/20 for my teenage son. Upon taking it out of the box, I noticed a dent in the rear lower corner. I plugged it in anyway, and it still worked. I decided to keep it because I did not want the hassle of repackaging it and taking it back to the store. I called Best Buy and asked for a discount because the product was dented. After waiting on the phone for 50 minutes to speak with someone, they offered me a whopping 10% off the purchase price, wow. Anyway, the fridge holds a lot, 24 cans of soda and 8 bottles of gatorade. It's quiet and looks nice when the led light is on. You can adjust the temperature using the digital temperature control. You can also reverse the door to open from the left or right side. I think it will do the job. Best Buy could do better by improving their customer service. I do not shop at Best Buy a lot, and their poor customer service reminds me why.

So, most people are interested in how cold this thing really gets. I keep it set to 33 degrees, and using a digital thermometer, sure enough, at the back wall of the unit it gets to 34 degrees. But, at the front of the unit where easily-reachable displayed drinks may be (with drinks stacked behind it), its around 40 degrees, which is still cold and refreshing to me. This is in a room that is generally in the mid 70s. I think that's just the nature of these small refrigerators. I'm not a quiet freak, but I have not noticed any noise issues. As with these refrigerators, realistic usable capacity is a somewhat lower than advertised - maybe 20-24 cans on top and 10-12 cans on bottom (if removing the wire bottle rack) would be the ideal arrangement.

I bought this to store water and a few beers under my desk at home and it's perfect so far. Like others, I was concerned about the bad reviews but luckily I haven't encountered any of those problems. It gets cold (around the same temp as a drink you'd buy from 7-11), doesn't make much noise when it does, and looks amazing for the price. I'm not sure if other reviewers got bad units or it's just user error. In the manual, it states to let the cooler sit upright for 30mins before plugging in and then letting it run for 2-3hrs without anything inside so it reaches a stable temp.

This compact refrigerator gets high marks in the looks department. The stainless steel and glass door look nice and the interior LED lighting is a nice touch also. But I should have known that this would not live up to expectations when I opened it and saw that getting 48 cans inside would be a stretch. You can put 36 cans inside easily, but those last 12 you'll have to be creative to work them into the available space. But that really isn't my beef with the unit. I could live with less capacity if the unit actually cooled to the temperature you set it for. I put 36 cans inside along with a thermometer after setting it up. It will not cool below 42 degrees F despite having it set for 33 degrees F and not opening it for several days. The drinks are cold, but not cold enough. I like mine just on the verge of freezing. One of the reasons I chose this unit is because you could dial in the exact temperature. But because this feature does not work, I'm taking the unit back. There is nothing more disappointing than wanting that ice cold beverage at the end of a hard day and only getting a mildly cold one instead.

Everything about this device is exactly as advertised, which today is unusual. It does take about 6 hours to turn a room temperature can of soda to 36° as set. As close to silent operation as can be. 48 cans would take some serious geometric engineering to fit.

Can fit 12oz glass beer bottles standing up as well as bottles of wine and cans. Excellent cooler!

easy to order, delivery was great. The fridge works fantastic. Price was fair Only issue, if you load 48 cans is too tight.

Read all the reviews before buying. Sadly many were correct, the one I received only cools to about 47 degree's. I've had the product less than 30 days and am now being told there is only a 15 day return policy, REALLY.???? After a hassle on the phone Best Buy finally agreed to ship a new one (Isn't that big of them). The product comes with a 1 year warranty, so the 15 day deal is just an out to not honor the product and warranty. My advice if you are considering this purchase, is to have a fridge thermostat before delivery and start testing immediately. I will no longer be purchasing from Best Buy as this is the 3rd product they have tried to get out of honoring the warranty on. I did buy the "extended warranty" which does no good on this problem.

Good product, keeps drinks cold. Does make a bit of a noise but it's not too noticeable.

CONS : Makes a humming sound. The light on is like as if there is no light at all, thats how dim it is. For being brand new , you would think a fridge would come in A+ condition. Not this one. Received it and it already had scratch skid marks on the floor of the bottom of the fridge. Like come one ,really ? It would be a different story if it was at my house or something, but i have this on the sales floor for customers and when see that its not a great a look.

Great fridge for my office, but after purchasing and plugging in there is a swamp type smell every time you open the door. The fridge was cleaned before use. Returned once and purchased again only to find the same thing happening. Now I have to return in store again.

Dented,bad thermostat,horrible ups &bestbuy service!
