The Insignia 5.0 cubic feet chest freezer is roomy and holds a lot of frozen foods. It has an adjustable control for the temperature. It needs to be defrosted about once per year, and it doesn’t take long to defrost. It has been an excellent chest freezer for me for over two years.

So I was a bit worried to go with this brand but let me tell you. It works amazing! This has so much more room than you would think and freezes pretty fast and very well. Got it on a great deal but would glady pay full price. Small and fits into a good area doesn't take up a lot of space but still has great room.

I bought this small chest freezer to take advantage of sale prices on things I like to grill and summer vegetables. I purchased a thermometer to keep up with the temperature inside the freezer and it remains consistently about 4 below with the control a little more than half. Considering I keep this freezer in my garage where there is no cooling and the heat from my wife's car could potentially affect it I am impressed. If it lasts for a few years I will say I got my monies worth.

I am loving my new freezer. After much research I was not able to find anyone who could beat the amazing price and quality that Best Buy offered. The freezer cooled quickly and was ready to use in a few hours. It has tons of room and a removable storage basket for easy access to the things I use more frequently.

We have a traditional older fridge and needed a bit more space. This was perfect since we had to put it in our basement and our staircase was more narrow. I could lift it with my husband as well. Affordable too!

We got this for some extra space to stock up on freezer meals before our baby arrives and it’s been great so far. Plenty of space to store tons of meals for two, but small/light enough I was able to lift it out of the car and unload it by myself. Consistently stays at 0 degrees on the medium setting.

We packed in 1/8 of a cow (various steaks, briskets, ground) and have room to spare. It runs quiet and is a good height for everyone to access. It came with one basket, two would have been nice. Already told a friend about it - he bought the 7cu ft version of the same model.

I went to several places shopping for a similar freezer. Went to Home Depot, Loews, Menards, and this one was the only good name brand one. Everyone else sells brands you have never heard of. Would recommend if you're in the market for one. We use ours to keep raw dog food Frozen. Works great

I bought this freezer for my wife so she could have a little extra space to store food when she cooks her seasonal items. It wasn't heavy at all and it took only a few minutes to set up. It freezes really well and makes zero noise. It's the biggest freezer that I've seen for this price and worth every penny.

Great freezer for a great price. Does exactly what we want it to do and hasn't had any issues after a year of ownership. Small enough that it fits in our small condo but still adds a lot of freezer space. Great value!

I purchased this freezer to keep my dogs raw food in and it works great! Stays very cold and has just the right amount of space for what I needed it for. I had 50 pounds of meat in it and it only took up a little over half the freezer. It was easy to move and cooled very quickly. Very happy with it so far.

I did a lot of reviews prior purchasing this item and I've made the correct decision. If you live in an apartment, then this items will be perfect for you. I do recommend purchasing plastic basket to put your food in. Device is very quiet and your rarely will even know its there in your kitchen or whatever place your put it.

This freezer is the perfect size for a small family. It has a movable wire shelf and lots of storage space. I have a medium kitchen and didn’t want anything to take up a lot of space. It has a very small footprint. Plus the fact I wouldn’t even know it was running if not for the little blue light.

It is the perfect size for our small home and it conveniently fits in the corner. It is quiet and has a blue light indicating that it is on. It has the drain in an easy location, it is very deep, and the basket is great for smaller items. We have had it since August and so far, have had no problems.

We needed to down size our freezer and we have been very happy with this one so far. It keeps everything frozen well. The only complaint we would have is that the vacuum seal is very strong. Sometimes it is very difficult to open if it seals too tightly. Other than that, a good purchase.

There's nothing glamorous about this freezer. It's white, not stainless, or black, or the black stainless like a lot of the other kitchen appliances...it's a decent size and keeps food frozen. The price compared to other comparable freezers was great. I'm happy with this purchase.

Really good buy. Wish I’d gotten one size larger, because I filled this one up fast. Keeps everything in a deep freeze. I keep it pretty full and haven’t had to defrost it yet to clear out ice. I do wish it came with two baskets instead of one

BestBuy's insignia brand has been a safe bet for most of our purchases. This chest freezer is no exception, it's efficient and compact, easy to lift with just two people. Fits a good amount of meat and frozen meals, good for stocking up before a busy school semester.

We are a family of five and our freezer was just not cutting it, i didnt look at this in store and was initally hesitant that it would be too small for our needs but it is the perfect perfect size!! Would def reccomend it, we store lot in it and it doesnt takr up too much spaze in our basement.

This freezer is compact and easy to use. I can put it in my suv and take it home right away without waiting for delivery. Remove the package when arrive home and wait for 4-6 hours before plug it in. The indicate light come on and it starts working.
