I just didn't trust it.

We put it in our basement for use in our bar/entertainment area and are very pleased with the product. It doesn't take up too much space and does its job!

No worries though it has a drain at the bottom for when you need to defrost. Had over one month and no issues. Works as advertised! Plus, Best Buy gave away for free with purchase so you definitely can't beat the price.
