Its an excellent product. We are still using it. It also survived in Hurricane Ida last year. It keeps everything fresh. Its enough for a family of four. The only thing is, I wish I could buy the vertical one where you can easy find your packages.

the compressor ran 24hr constantly fitst time plug in.but finally it works normally after adjust the food position to leave enough space to make the cool air to be circulated inside from the wall to the center, if you have huge foods to fill it up I recommand you to buy the 7 to 10 cu chest freezer or the upright one(frost free+free shipping +free installation$499 )

I love this freezer. Plenty of room and it gets very cold.

I purchased my freezer about a year ago. It keeps everything frozen and hasn't had any problems. It does require occasional defrosting (about once every six months or so). I keep some frozen blocks in it so that I can just transfer them and food into a cooler while I defrost. It's not that big a deal. Hard to beat what it offers at that price anywhere.

I'm used to having a full size freezer. But I have had to move to much smaller temporary housing due to relocation. Only having the freezer at the top of the small frig drove me crazy. I got this freezer that fits well in a small place. It holds more than you think. I love having that freezer space again.

I bought this as I have a small refrigerator freezer and since my kids moved back home I needed more freezer storage. Then the pandemic hit and I waited for this freezer for quite awhile (understandably and I am not upset at the wait at all). When it arrived the top was damaged but the freezer part was intact and I didnt want to send it back or complain really as I am grateful to have it especially since freezers are hard to come by but it has stopped keeping meats and things frozen twice. The internal temp was 40 degrees. My husband moved things around because I thought maybe the vent was covered and so far that seems to have done the trick. I am constantly worried about it though. It seems to be working now and I hope it continues.

Tried other products of this same brand and never had a problem so decided to try a freezer. Like that it's a lil taller than my old one so doesn't take up too much space

Great freezer. Fits perfectly in my kitchen. My husband likes to hunt and fish. The compartments/layout keeps everything organized!

When I first plugged in this freezer, I thought "Uh-Oh! I don't hear anything..." Then I put my ear on top of the unit and said "Oh yeah, it IS running!". I still put my ear on it once in a while just to make sure ;-O). The top basket is the perfect height for my girlfriend who's in a wheel chair to reach by herself, so that's where I put her favs. Some other makes lack the basket! No more "TAPING THE FRIDGE SHUT" LOL! We should have got this 2 years ago!! Buy one! All of my insignia products perform as expected :).

It is a great size for a regular household. If you constantly have a lot of frozen products then you may want to shell out the extra $20 for the 7.0 cu ft one. I live in Phoenix and even in 120 degree weather it stays cool and everything remains frozen.

This is the perfect size extra freezer to keep in the garage. We use it as an overflow for our side by side but also for the summer ice pops and ice cream. Plenty of room inside to store Pyrex dishes and other prepared foods.
