This freezer is great, especially when it comes to storing larger items like a big turkey for the holidays. It would take up too much room in my french door fridge bottom freezer but this is perfect for such a task. Thanks Best Buy!

Good price, quality deep freezer. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this at Best Buy on 4/23/16 and keep it in my garage. I needed additional space beyond my fridge. I had a separate circuit installed for it so it would not be on my GFI. Last week my wife discovered it had quit working. The outlet had power. Fortunately it had not completely thawed because I had lots of frozen water bottles from hurricane season. I plugged it back in and the motor seems to be running again but a freezer I can't trust isn't useful (especially because I travel a lot). I have the receipt, but, unfortunately, the warranty only last one year. If you buy one, you may want to consider additional protection. At this point I either need to replace it for find a good freezer alarm that works remotely.

The freezer is great if you have a smaller space in your basement but want to stock up on your meats after hunting and fishing season. The basket is nice for items you don't want to dig through, other than that I wish it had another shelf or basket.

I bought this to store my oversupply of breast milk. I'm hoping to store enough to stop pumping before 1 year. I'm able to store 8 bags of 6oz per plastic gallon bag (48oz). In the freezer I can store 44 gallon bags for a total of 2,112 oz of breast milk. My child eats 30oz/day. So that is 70 days worth. I wish I had bought the larger freezer.

I purchased this 5 cf freezer to hold chum blocks and bait fish. 13 months later and the seal is broken. Everything at the bottom of the freezer is frozen solid but anything I place on top is thawed out. Now my garage smells like a fish market. Insignia doesn't sell a replacement part and they won't replace it since its 1 month past the warranty.

I bought this after extensive review of them online. After an 80-mile round trip, I followed directions for letting it sit till the next day to plug in. Compressor ran, but it never cooled below 60 deg F! Ended up getting the next size up (after another trip), and it's so far working just fine. Could be the first one just had a small leak, I don't know. Just know it didn't do the trick.

Great product for the cheapest price available. Would buy again.

I bought my freezer on Saturday, March 22nd. As of today it will only freeze items on the bottom of what's in there. I had to take out the rest. Is there a specific setting it should be on.

Compared this to the ones at Walmart. Value couldn't be touched. Warranty is awesome

Everything seemed fine, except the manual and warranty information was in about every language except English. I need English.

I decided to buy a deep freezer because the standard freezers just aren’t enough for my big family. I followed the directions before plugging up I waited about 4 hours. Once we plugged the freezer up I decided to sit a cut of water inside just to gauge the coolness of the freezer (I forgot to buy a thermometer) then I went to work for 16 hours. Came home from work and the water was still the same temperature of the tap it came from. I’m very disappointed and frustrated because I definitely don’t feel like loading this back up in the truck to return it but I have to. I should have spent a little more and got better quality. You truly get what you pay for.

For service on problem, I have to take freezer into store? Really?

I wouldn't buy it again. It has quit working (freezing) though the motor works, twice and, I think this time it's dead. Not a good value for the money spent.

I never ever ever write online reviews but this thing is such a hunk of junk I feel obligated to let other people know!!! The freezer doesn’t keep anything frozen. The only thing that completely freezes is the stuff placed on the bottom. Even when the freezer isn’t totally full and is on the max setting it still doesn’t freeze meat completely. A complete and total waste of money-not only for the freezer itself but for all the food we just had to throw away!!!!

We bought this freezer to store breast milk that my wife is pumping for our new baby boy. She has a months worth of milk in there now that has to be thrown out because this freezer doesn’t freeze. Even with it on the low setting, the bottom only gets down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, and the top is 30-35 degrees. Do yourself a favor and buy something nicer that actually does its job and will last.
