It was either this or one from home depot. Been working good so far. Be sure to keep something on the lid to make the seal tight. Seems to recover well between fill ups at Costco. Takes like an hour to get back to -10/15 which is fine by me after refilling it.

Like the size and it was a good price on sale. Disappointed in the quality of the interior. Put frozen turkey in it and it dented the bottom. Put cardboard in the bottom to prevent future dents. The sides are the same material so they are prone to denting as well.

We purchased the freezer and once we opened the box it was a simple matter of plugging in and waiting for the unit to get to an appropriate temperature before placing food inside. The main thing I would stress is to follow the instructions in the manual. It would make things go smoother

I love this freezer it's not to huge but fits soo much. it can fits item easily for a family of 4, We bought this because we usually go to Restaurant Depot to purchase lots of meat & chicken, in the process we need lots of space and were looking out for a freezer, in a way more items than our normal freezer/ fridge didn't have nearly any room compared to this, when bestbuy came out with an awesome deal at 119$, we just clicked Buy. The Interesting Aspect is after buying from bestbuy, the representative called once to confirm the deal, and second time called to confirm the delivery, it was delivered by two bestbuy guys to my door step, they not only installed it, but guided on its proper use. The freezer's awesome, Best Buy is awesome, and i luv home delivery. this is what makes online shopping of expensive & heavy items look easy. Great going bestbuy with your deals, delivery & service.

It would be nice if this had a thermometer in it, but hey, this is a small garage freezer, and it's really plug and play. I haven't had any build up of ice and it's keeping everything frozen. We even lost power for a couple of hours and I didn't open the lid until after power was restored - everything was still frozen.

I like a chest over an upright and manual defrost over auto. I have the 10cf in sign a chest freezer. Ran low on room so got a second insigna freezer. Both work great. Defrost yearly. Keep meat in 10 and breads, leftovers, butter, etc when the 5. Would highly recommend.

I needed a small freezer and decided to buy this one. When the associate put it in our car, I noticed that the box was damaged but didn’t think freezer was damaged. When we took it out, I noticed a big dent on the side. I Decided to keep it because I didn’t want to load it back to the car and take it back. To this day it bothers me when I see the dent. Freezer itself has been working fine and I would recommend it.

We have a refrigerator with the freezer located at the bottom (pull out drawer), which is small. This small deep freezer is a great addition for a small family to stock up on groceries - especially now that we’re stuck in the house during the COVID-19 outbreak!

Not an overly large freezer, which is good for us, but it holds plenty of items. Only complaint is it has two bumpers, one on each side when opening the freezer, that keep the lid from slamming down when closing. One of the bumpers tends to fall off easily, but this doesn't bother me enough to take away a star.

Bought this for my home. We needed an additional freezer to store frozen items. Easy to set up right out of the package and doesn’t take long to cool upon first use. Very quiet, deep storage and hasn’t affected our electricity bill much at all. Plus the price at Best Buy you cannot beat!

Great little guy, it's already full and chugging away to keep our food fresh. Easy to install, easy to find a space to put it. Will be nice not to run the bigger freezer all year when it's more empty than full. We like the product, we especially liked the price

This is a great freezer! It looked small when they brought it out to me for purchase pick up and the Best Buy Associate just carried it by hand to my car. But, once at home and I opened it up..... it is very roomy! Great starter freezer. I really like it and it frees up room in the refrigerator freezer.

This this runs quiet and doesn't cost much to run. Keeps everything frozen solid. Can be difficult to organize, but that's all chest freezers. The cord is not very long. Overall, very happy with it. Get a temperature alarm if you don't have it inside your home. Not a bad idea even if it is inside.

With a combination of rewards certificates and a gift card, this has been one a my best households buys from Best Buy! The delivery guys were super polite and friendly! Perfect size to fit in the garage, not to bulky. Never knew Insignia was Best Buy's brand... I'm a officially a fan

This is a good sized freezer at the right price. Would have been nice if it was an energy star freezer.

Perfect size for an additional freezer. Doesn’t take up too much room in garage. Would purchase again.

This is a smaller chest freezer but it is perfect for our needs. We were using an old, energy sucking fridge but upon realizing that we only really ever used the freezer we started looking for a replacement. This small chest freezer provides a bit more freezer space and at a fraction of the cost to run.

The freezer works very well. It looked small at first but it actually holds quite a few items. It works for my family.

This little freezer is very quite and cooling is very well. One thing I don't like; which I already know about these kinds of freezers; is that it has no defrost cycle. This means that ice or frost will build up in your freezer after a while. however, this is manageable and you can clean it every 6 mths. Otherwise, nice 4 the price!
