The network cable is the perfect length for me to run it from my router to my room in the garage to get better reception.

I found this cable to be of excellent quality. The ends are nicely made and seem durable. I like the medium/dark gray color.

I have an old XP that I was using wifi for the internet. The netgear with its old software and new comcast system were not compatible ... I chose to run a long cable because it was less expensive than a new wifi adapter. It worked as long as I don't trip over the cord {!!!}.

Although most colleges offer wifi within the dorm rooms, the cinderblock construction inhibits the signal from going through in some of the rooms. This cable allows the students to plug their lap top into the wired network so they can do homework and connect to internet.
