However after 21 months of owning it most of the screen went out. It was going to cost more to have it fixed than to just buy a new TV. Won’t be going with this brand again. If you do, get the extended warranty.

Only seen on the hdmi imputs. Ruled out a cable or sert top box issue. Clearly a firmware problem. After back and forth emails for a couple of weeks, they sent out a replacement set. Plugged it in, downloaded the latest updated, replacement TV has the exact same issue. I'm requesting a refund and will stay away from Insignia going forward.

I would only turn it on as I got dressed, but even that was seldom. I usually go to bed to sleep, so I won't bother to replace it. I suppose it could make a decent night light.

Conveniently, the manufacturer's warranty expired at one year from purchase. The TV lived in our fitness room, so over its 56 weeks of life outside the box it maybe had 280 hours of "on" time. This will likely be the last TV I purchase from Best Buy, and will most certainly be the last time I buy an Insignia TV. Don't be tempted by the price, unfortunately this steal of deal was in fact too good to be true--or at least too good to last.

The screen from the half part down randomly just getting pixelated and has lines just running across the screen. Happened 2 weeks after the return date. This is why you invest in a name brand like samsung. I got this garbage during black friday. Now I truly believe they sell the worst products around that time. It's so hard to look at I'd rather just leave it off..
