TV is great, I am using as a second monitor. Using it with a cyberpower PC I bought from bestbuy too (NVDIA 3070). I am just using it as a third screen, to hold stuff for some design purposes while I use unreal engine and photoshop for creating animations / youtube videos. Gets the job done. And the smart TV part is cool. When I'm done working I can fire up netflix or primevideo and hulu. Great price, Great features...great value.

    Buy These Insignias - Seriously!

I have been a big brand my whole life but needed two tv's and just didn't want to spend thousands. I saw the Insignia brand and read it is a Best Buy product. I assume they wouldn't get behind a product unless it was pretty good. I'll tell you what, I'll never buy a big name tv again. These Insignias have everything you could possibly want. Actually more than what I want. I don't want Fire so, I just didn't set that up. I wanted Smart TV capability plus the ability to watch my cable TV. Set up was extremely easy. One 55" TV I hung on the wall with a $20 mount. The 50" I attached the legs with 2 screws in each. You hook it up, turn it on and the prompts take you though setup. You have to have an Amazon account for more functionality - not Prime, just an amazon account. Do it, it's work creating an account. You need to if you want more than just 5 app stations, like Hulu, You tube, etc. First TV setup, I thought something might be going wrong because it kept saying it was updating, then seemed to finish then updated again. Happens two or three times. Let it. Eventually everything comes up beautifully. I think made it so my cable remote controls the set so never need to touch the insignia remote. Search google how to set up your cable company remote. Comcast was simple. I absolutely love the sets. I think the 50" was $239 and the 55" a little more than that and I couldn't tell the difference between this picture and the Sony in my basement that I overpaid for several years ago over $2k.

Watching it right now. Good picture. Netflix app works well. Can’t review sound because it has been attached to the AV receiver since day one. It supports a blu-ray, TiVo, Apple TV, and a WII game (analog inputs). The reason I went with this TV was it fit close to perfect in my entertainment center. The remote is very basic, but it will work with one of those smart speaker systems. I don’t know which one. I only gave it four stars because of the remote. Great value for the price.

I am giving this 5 stars because of the tremendous value I got with this purchase. I bought during Black Friday sale for $150. You can’t beat that! We are a fire stick family with fire sticks in every TV in the house. I really do like the Fire OS and that it is built into the TV. The features for the price are very good. Obviously this is not a high end TV but works great in our bedroom. Easy set up and good remote as well.

A lot better than I expected. Best $150 ever spent. Has every feature I wanted. Even connects via Bluetooth to my soundbar, something I didn't think a TV in this price range would have. Firetv is very easy to use and saves me a few bucks in a Firetv stick. The 4K HDR movie looks incredible. If you're in the market for a 50" TV, you can't go wrong with this one, especially at this price point. Grab 1 if you can!

Just purchased this telvision the other day and i'm very surprised on how good the pocture is. The colors are true, vivid and very sharp when watching content in FULL HD and 4K.The sound is is Dolby Digital and very impressive at highest levels. The price tag of $349.99 is another reason why i purchased this great TV and highly eecommend it to all

This is a great TV until it decides to die right after the warranty expires. I’ve already replaced one when it randomly decided never to turn back on one day. Now in the middle of watching a movie the entire screen blew out, starting with a small glow and within minutes the entire screen was blown. Don’t think I’ll be buying another one.

This TV was the perfect combination of features, size and price. Love the multitude of apps, the ability to use my XFinity Stream account, and also the ability to wirelessly screen share from my computer. My previous TV needed to use an extended HDMI cable to connect to my computer, so I am relieved to not need that with this. Would definitely recommend!

I purchased this TV to mount on the wall of my smaller family room off the kitchen to replace a 42" non smart TV that cost about $75 more. The smaller TV was an absolute mistake. This TV does everything my larger more expensive TVs do in the other rooms. I really only bought this Smart TVs so I can stream a few networks and do some other things while in the kitchen area and I was kind of pushing it off until this past week. I just learned how to do some things on these Smart TVs and I am pretty impressed for the price. Yeah, I will watch some regular TV from a satellite setup and he picture quality is awesome. The only way to appreciate these TV quality is through the HDMI connection. We did link this TV like the others to an Amazon account which I never really use the full potential of it yet, but the rest of my family does stuff on these Smart TVs that are really nice. But I really do not have a whole lot of time to learn everything these things can do. I let everyone else take control for now. Trust me for the price, you won't be disappointed.

This is a good tv. I have two of them. The tv is priced well. The features are great. It’s easy to integrate with all home devices. Once you tweak the picture settings, your picture should be as clear as you want it. If you want top of the line, don’t buy this one. If you want a good picture with good features, this tv might be the one for you.

Great 4K tv for the price. Not much to say about this. It has all the things you need for a starter TV. It’s smart, has built in apps, clear picture, and best of all very low price. You can’t go wrong if you are looking for a cheap 4K TV. It also has HDMI inputs and sound quality is not that bad but a soundbar will definitely help.

As the title says, the tv is of good quality and I prefer the firetv layout and user interface over other smart tvs like Roku. The only negative is the remote. It drains the batteries like crazy. Initially, the batteries lasted 3 months then it was a month and now I’m replacing high quality batteries every two weeks. It costs $30 to even replace the remote with a voice-search capability (which you are going to want to have). By comparison, I bought a smaller version of this exact tv model the same day and I’ve only had to replace the batteries once so it’s weird. If you’re willing to deal with this, then the tv is worth the purchase. If not, then don’t choose a Roku alternative as their remotes are far more reliable but their search option is more archaic.

This insignia 4K was a great buy for Christmas, couldn’t beat the price for a 50 in smart tv. Very easy set up basically just took it out of the box a ready to go. Has great color and sound isn’t to bad either. I would definitely buy another one for such a great price

This was my second purhase for this TV. I had bought one for my daughter's birthday and she liked it very much. She had an older, smaller Insignia and wanted to upgrade to a bigger size. She was very happy with the new model. For my part, I wanted a bigger TV for my bedroom. I've had a Toshiba for quite some time (42") and loved the colors, sound, etc. Once I installed the Insignia, it took a bit of tinkering to get the "natural" colors I've been accustomed to. Sound is wonderful, it was just a matter of getting used to a newer model and technology. I'm happy.

Bought this around Christmas. It was such a wonderful deal and I think it looks great in my room. This is my first time owning a smart t.v. and I love how it connects with alexa and I can have her change my t.v. I love the picture quality and the price for a large t.v. was amazing. I would 10/10 recommend.

Great price and size. We use this TV in the basement in our home gym. Gets the apps we need. The sound is better than expected, but we still use separate speakers. Not as good as our main TV, but that was almost $1k more.

For the Black Friday price, this was a great buy. The size is perfect and the picture is nice. The set up was easy and the fire program is very easy to maneuver. We had insignia tv’s for a very long time that this buy was a no brainer. I’ll follow up in two months to see how this TV has held up.
