Great price for a great product. I really like Best Buy's Insignia brand TVs. I've had another one for over 7 years and it still works perfectly. This product, the 50" Fire TV has nice, crisp picture quality and was easy to set up. It connected with my wifi easily and took no time to set up my hulu and netflix accounts. It's a great addition to my living room.

TLDR: Bought this during Black Friday for $150. At somewhere around that price, I would definitely recommend it. Anywhere above $250, then you can probably find something better. The “TL” part: The user interface is cumbersome and unnecessarily convoluted. During initial setup, I had to hunt down and adjust almost every picture option that was set to “Auto” before I was finally able to get 4K resolution. Afterwards, most of the adjustments needed to hone it in are accessed using the quick settings overlay, which is both tedious and cryptic. The user manual is basically just a 28 page “quick start guide”, with absolutely no explanations for any of the setting options and what they actually do. What’s the difference between HDMI “Mode 1” & “Mode 2”? ARC vs eARC? HDR Tone Mapping? Local Contrast Enhancement? Super Resolution? Mid Range Gamma Luminance? The list goes on, and on, and on... I’m happy to Google stuff I don’t know, or need a more detailed explanation on, but almost every single setting is a bit much. Overall, once you get over the initial setup obstacles, it looks great, but it always seems to feels like the TV is working against you.

Excellent smart TV, great picture and sound. The only problem I’m having is syncing a Comcast Xfinity remote with the TV. Could be a Comcast issue, but I’m on my second remote and cable box. The remote desyncs from the TV after being off for 20 minutes. You are able to set an input to come on when you turn the tv on Vs the input selection page.

My VIzio 55" Smart TV died right before the Stanley Cup playoffs started last week. So I went on Best Buy to search for a replacement and came upon this TV. Then went to the Plymouth, MA store to check it out and bought it right on the spot. Set up is super simple, the color is so realistic you'd think you were part of the show or movie you're watching. For the price, you can't go wrong. Why spend more when you can get a great viewing experience with this set?

I use this TV to display information boards. It stays on 24/7 and I've not had any issues with it. I've used Insignia TV's all over and leave them all on. I've found the quality to be very high and the lower cost is extremely appealing. I highly recommend it.

I bought this on black Friday because you could not go wrong for the price and it has FireTV built in. I had a smaller TV in my bedroom, nothing wrong with it, just had a hard time viewing it. This took care of my needs. I have a couple old gaming systems that I have hooked in but not a chance to play. This has wireless built in but since my router is close by, I have it connected via its built in ethernet cable port. Great playback so far.

This tv was very easy to setup, good picture quality for a 60hz tv and can i say awesome speakers out of the box! You won’t be needing a soundbar with this one. Tv also is compatible with hd antennas and even usb sticks as it does have an internal media player. Best buy blew it out of the park here, thank you!

I bought this tv in preparation for a ps5. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to snag a ps5 at the time of review, so my opinion is based on streaming shows and gaming with a ps4. Streaming TV: there is virtually zero lag between turning the tv on and being connected to Netflix, Hulu, etc. picture quality from streaming 1080p movies is amazing. 4K video refresh rate didn’t look to great. But if you switch it to “gaming” picture mode the refresh rate improves immensely. Overall a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Time will tell if this tv can truly handle 4K movies. Gaming: gaming with a ps4 is amazing. Picture quality is top notch, refresh rate is seamless. Again, this is at 1080p, so I can’t comment on 4K quality. Sound from a the tv speakers are more than adequate. Chances are if you’re gaming you’ll be using a sound System anyhow. 5 out of 5 for gaming (1080p). Even if it turns out to be 4K isn’t great, which I don’t know yet, this tv more than earns its value. For the price, I highly recommend.

Very nice picture quality, easy to set up, easy to navigate. Sound quality is also not terrible for the price. I have mine hung up in my office above my work set-up and it is great for using as a 3rd monitor when needed. Also very easy to cast videos to while I am working. The built in FIreStick option is also very nice because it lets me easily access apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, and Youtube. Highly recommend for the price point!

I want to start off saying that I really don’t know that much about TVS. I spent hours yesterday googling “how do I know which TV to buy” and I’ve only watched Game Of Thrones on my new TV for an hour but I already love it so much. The quality for the price is great! I was stuck between buying this one or the TCL Roku version that is similar to this one, but seeing the TVs in person on display I instantly liked this one better because it was able to get a lot brighter which was important to me because I get a lot of natural light in my living room during the day. Out of the box I was not that impressed with the picture but I just googled “insignia 4K calibration settings” and that helped a lot and then compared them to how it looked while watching it on my iPhone because I enjoy the way it looks on my phone and I’m used to these settings as well, I then adjusted them further based on my own preferences. I did notice that the settings out of box had a bit of a blue hue to them but you can just lower the “tint” setting and that helped with that, if that bothers you. Being a previous roku owner, I was a little bummed at the lack of customization to the home screen and I hardly use Amazon so the whole Amazon centered Home Screen doesn’t make much sense for me but it doesn’t bother me too much. One good difference between the Firestick TV vs Roku, is that this TV automatically shuts off after inactivity which is nice for people who forget to turn the TV off before leaving the house. I highly recommend this tv.

Great picture, and easy to set up. For all you cord cutters, the tuner for use with an antenna is the best that I have seen. Despite the savings on the black friday sale price, the set is worth every penny even at its original price. The best buy store brand is just as good as more famous brands ,but you save a lot of money. Yet ,you still get a great experience whether you stream, cable, satellite , or watch over the air.

I picked up this TV on Black Friday expecting it to be poor quality due to the price. To my surprise, I love this TV. The picture is super clear and the colors look much better than my 2018 Samsung 4K I had. The User Interface is easy to maneuver and isn’t as slow as other TV UI’s that I’ve used. It was extremely worth it at the Black Friday Price, but even at its current price, I would recommend it to everyone.

Are there better TVs out there? Sure, probably. If price wasn't an issue is it a 5 star tv? But that's not how reviews should work. For the price I paid? I don't see how you could do any better. And I really don't think spending another $300+ would have gotten much improvement at all. This is going in a vacation rental (which I also use), and so far I have zero complaints. Picture quality is good, ease of use is good.
