Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV from Best Buy, brand new (no open box/clearance, etc.) Feb. 22, 2023. As of April 8th 2024, just a little over a year later, the tv is completely dead. The most frustrating part? We barely use it! Maybe 2-3 times a week. It's never once even been left on overnight by accident or anything. It also isn't left on all day either bc work/school. My son went to turn it on yesterday after school, & these weird white lines going down from the top thru an otherwise black screen, w/ no picture, no sound, appeared (it's not edge lit either, it's back lit). I pressed the on/off button a few times, and each time, the lines got brighter. Then I tried to do a 'hard reset' but nothing worked. It's completely dead. barely 14 months old. While looking up possible fixes or causes online, I came across a ton of reviews & info about this being one of the worst TV's you can purchase- which, clearly, I never knew. It gave us no indication prior to this that it was on the fritz. Worked completely fine until it didn't. That's not worth the money in my opinion. Figures the warranty passed a few months before I could use it too. Isn't that how it always works? And Best Buy won't do free recycling on any TV's larger than 49" & of course mine is 50" so I have to pay to recycle it, while also having to buy a new TV. Great, thanks Insignia.

Issue with bass sound

Geek guy lowered the base setting but still getting some thumping with background music even at a low volume. I may have to have it looked at if it continues.
