    The initial TV we purchased was defective, it was as though you were looking at a negative image (ie darks were light, lights were dark). Even after letting the TV do its update for the Fire TV portion and navigating the menus to reset the the TV, it was still broken. Pretty quick return process and the new TV has worked well for the past 3 weeks. One disappointing thing I found was that this TV (it is a 2023 model) doesn't let you pair it to an Amazon Echo speaker, like my standalone 4K Firestick allows. Overall, I like the TV, easy menus and sleep timer access.

    Just used it for the first time yesterday and it’s pretty good for the price. It took a while to set up but otherwise everything is working fine. My cable remote is operable only to change channels after switching input and the volume can only be adjusted through fire tv remote unlike my old tv.

    The tv worked well for a little under 2 years and then the backlight went out but it had been well loved and used. We had the warranty which made it easy to get a replacement.
