It came packed well and I didn’t have an issue. This was my first Amazon Fire TV, and I initially liked the interface, BUT! When you put a movie or show on pause from one of your apps, the TV goes to sleep after only 5 minutes. Then when you wake it up, you’re back to the home screen. You have to go back into your app and resume your movie. I Googled to see if there was a setting to tweak, but all I found was Reddit threads full of others complaining about the same issue, going back three years! There’s no setting to change this. So you’re watching your show, you pause it to take a quick bathroom break and grab a snack, then by the time you get back to the TV, you have to wake it up and go open the whole app again. To be clear, this is NOT an Insignia issue. This is Amazon Fire TV, the streaming platform on the TV. The TV would be great if it had Roku or Google instead. It could be a great TV for those using outside streaming sticks (like Roku or Apple) or cable/satellite boxes. Since I only just received it yesterday, I will be returning it to exchange for a TV I will be able to more easily enjoy. One with a Roku or Google streaming platform. I hope Amazon will take notice! There are plenty of people online who feel the same as me.
