We replaced our old 40-inch with Apple TV connected set up to this SmartTV. It is always nice when you can remove devices. I thought it would be a hard transition from Apple OS to Fire OS but it wasn't. I like the remote better too. This TV also works with dual audio devices too. We use headphones and the sound from the TV at the same time.

The sound on it is pretty good, if you're not in the mood to buy a sound bar and all that right now. This may be a settings thing that I need to play around with, but I noticed it's a bit harder to see darker scenes, but doesn't bother me. I was hesitant to get anything with Firetv because I have not liked it in the past due to being glitchy and lagging, but that was with a stick. Seems mostly good and quick to respond on this tv.
