    I purchased an Insignia brand TV 3 years ago (there’s been 3 new models since then, probably because these TV’s are built to last 1 year) After 2 years of that TV being my primary, I had to replace it because the top half was much darker than the bottom half making the experience way less enjoyable. I put it back into the box and kept it like that for a few months. I moved into a new space and decided to put the tv in a different room. After only 2 days of living here the entire backlight has gone out, 3 total years after the purchase date, and many months spent inactive. The quality of Insignia products is laughable. I also had a mini-fridge that only lasted 1 month. Insignia is an in-house brand of Best Buy, and some of their products are decent, but if it plugs into the wall, do yourself a favor and stick with the established brands. Insignia has done nothing to prove actual quality and reliability.

    I have used insignia TV's for over a decade as computer monitors. The quality of the product has really taken a nose dive over the last couple of years. I have had 3 Insignia's fail with in the last year. a 50", a 58" and the new 50" I bought in July of this year, is now beginning to fail as well. 4 months old and it flickers BAD.

    Bought this exact tv for black friday 2020 for half the price it is now. Thank goodness since a major component went out yesterday and i need to buy a new tv now since the part is triple the cost of the tv. This tv does NOT last long! The remote is also a flimsy nightmare. The first one broke apart after 2 months. I called insignia and they sent me a replacement and the same thing happened. They’re so cheap! Dont buy this tv if you want it to last a while.

    I purchased this set in July 2023 on sale. In September/October 2024 it started to turn on by itself five minutes after I turned it off. Two weeks ago it would not turn on at all. There are several videos on YouTube with suggestions on how to fix this. I tried them all. None worked. I called Insignia for help. The rep who could barely speak English with a thick accent had no suggestions and told me to buy a new set. I called Geek Squad. The rep in the Philippines said it would cost me $124 to have someone look at it. I regret not buying any warranty. I regret buying this terrible product even more.

    Bought this TV about 13 months back and now started display issues, vertical lines and everything blurred out. Called manufacturer and the amount they are charging to get it repaired i could buy new TV. Honestly I don't recommend to buy this product and also the fire TV wants to restrict and track everything, its annoying

    If you want a good sized inexpensive smart tv it’s ok. The picture quality isn’t good compared to our more expensive tv. But it works for now.

     I purchased a insignia 50 inch TV on December 29, 2021. The screen turn black the sound comes on for about five minutes, not very good luck with this TV .  I see why the TV was inexpensive . Customer service: Bangor main store was put on hold three times and one time got disconnected, almost impossible to talk to somebody .

    Not happy only had 2 weeks and volume comes and goes and picture screen sometimes good and sometimes not, hope they return it beiing cant find my online receipt but was purchased through ZIP

    Do Not Buy Insignia TVs

    If I could give this negative stars I would. It should not take two tech support agents and two adults to figure out how to pair a remote to a TV and the only solution given by tech support should not be “Have you tried turning the TV on and off and unplugging it?” Will be returning my purchase as soon as Best Buy opens again and will not be purchasing this TV or any other TV from Best Buy. Insignia please learn how to make better TVs.

    This tv has broken twice in 2 years. First the the power supply stopped working and now the screen juat went black but can still hear the sound. Cant believe companies are allowed to sell garbage like this. I still have a 13 yo flat screen that has zero issues.

    Picture dead (have audio and it does power on) after less than 2 years with sparse use. I had purchased this for upstairs bonus room and wanted a nice TV with reasonable cost, and this seemed it would fit the bill. But, alas in less than 2 years, have a blank screen that eventually gets a blue vertical bar if you leave it on, and best option is just chunk and replace. They certainly don't make these like they use to.

    Daughter birthday gift a bust!!!

    The delivery company best buy used roadie delivery company lied and said ." No one was home .which it was not true we were home all day .and no one from roadie delivery company never showed . Now i have to wait days before bestbuy does anything. But in the meantime my daughter birthday present is a bust.

    Hope you dont want to use and HDMI inputs

    I have purcahsed 6 of these tv's for a project and none of them work properly. They populate as if there is a signal and then once its selected the tv states nonsignal detected. After some work unplugging and repligging in the hdmi it will eventually cath the signal. 10/10 would bot reccomned. Spend the extra $100 and get a samsung or sony.

    Broke after less than a month

    Everything was going great with this purchase until today it randomly stopped connecting to my home wifi (even though it was definitely working because my phone and laptop were connected). I tried everything the instructions said including a factory reset and still nothing. It’s past the return window so I don’t know if anything can be done. So frustrated that I might be out $200 and hoping customer service will be helpful.

    The product purchased was a 50 inch Insignia TV and I picked it up at the store. When i got it home a Toshiba TV was in the box it was 3 years old and it did not work. I took it back to the store and they told me they couldn't give me back my money and gave me the Corporate number to call. I called Corporate and they told me they couldn't do anything as it should be handled by the store. Needless to say I am out my purchase. Do not buy from Vest Buy!
