Remote control is comfortable and easy. Fire TV is great. I had the fire stick before. Now this is built in. Sound bar connection is easy to connect. Price reduction by $20 after I bought it.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I'm surprised that for a 2023 model that it still has such a wide bezel and thick cabinet...but that's all for the aesthetics. Functionally, it's not too bad, although it seems as though you have to continuously re-test the network settings since the ability to watch in certain resolutions is based on that speed. Be aware that if you are strictly using the built-in apps and not an external media adapter that your video settings are limited and you cannot "force" 4k resolution--even on Prime Video I can't get 4K resolution on most items that supposedly have it. Disney+ however does broadcast no problem although I do notice a change in the available screen being used at different points on 4k movies but that may be how it is and I'm not experienced enough tto know that this happens. The official remote app absolutely sucks--you have to re-pair it several times a day at worst or once a day at best. Sometimes it takes multiple times closing and re-opening the app for it to even detect the tv on the network.

Contacted the 888 number I was given, someone not in this country. Stating that Best Buy could not supply replacement stands, just return the unit to a Best Buy for a refund. Explained to this person that this was a Xmas gift that was sent to my 90 year old aunt that lived in Georgia and I reside in Michigan. End results no action on Best Buy part, customer support a -100.

I was supposed to get 1month free Apple TV and 2free months FUBU and never got either one. They claimed the code would be emailed to me it’s been over a month and nothing and when I call all I get is attitude and told that I need to look through my emails and that they can’t resend it nor tell me if it was ever sent.

It’s not gonna compete with $1000 TV but for around $250 after tax this is the perfect TV for a spare bedroom or a kids room. I use it for the kids room and we hooked up a Nintendo to it, and it really Brings me back.
