After a few hours a pop up shows asking if you still watching and after a short period of time not responding it will either go into store mode showing random pics or it will shut itself off. Ive been in many communications with tech support on both brands on how to stop this. My mother has dementia and is 80% blind. She uses tge tv as a conforting and some light to get around using as light. It has become a nuisances that ever few hours i have to go and turn the tv either from a different program it just changes itself to and turn it back to an app and program she likes or even turn it back on bcuz both brands pretty much do what they want like if they are possessed ...
