I've had one replaced because it arrived damaged. Replaced it at the store with another one and it isn't any better. While watching it goes back to home and you have to enter everything again. Or it freezes and takes forever to reload. The tech who came to look at it said I just bought a cheap tv and that's what is gonna happen. If that's the case I won't ever purchase anything from them again!

Software issue

This is particularly aggravating during live Tv viewing, esp. sporting events. Additionally, if Roku is your favored streaming platform, this FireTv is not for you. While you can add the Roku app the Roku features are not available.

Don't trust the customer service at Best Buy.

The customer service from Best Buy was terrible and was never resolved. Trying to talk to someone that could do anything except read from a script was fruitless. Multiple times I was told a supervisor would call me within two hours. I have yet to hear from anyone. I will never order from Best Buy again. I've been a customer for over ten years.

Decent tv

Only problem is with certain apps (Hulu for example) it will randomly go back to the home screen in the middle of a movie. I've cleared the cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled the apps and nothing works. Had to put my Firestick on it to use....

TV issues

Installing and signing into apps is awkward and time consuming. Does not work with Roku. It shuts down Roku devices after a few months. Ugh. Not for me. But if you love to spend hours and hours setting up and maintaining a tv, and you enjoy Amazon stealing all your data, you’ll love it.
