SO FAR, SO GOOD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received and setup this 50 inch Insignia yesterday. One thing I neglected to check out was the length of the table top. I ended up going to a Home Depot in order to purchase a 16 by 48 inch piece of wood on which the TV now sits. Picture quality is very clear and sharp. I have yet to tweak anything. Do not think that I will need to do that. I activated the voice command options which I shall be turning off at some point today...the voice sounds horrible and very, very old school and irritating. Remote is simple enough. Screen bezel is very narrow which is very nice. Seems like a sturdy build. Overall, I am pleased with the TV's size, build, picture and the ease with which things got set up. Big screen, good price, reasonably priced 4-year extended warranty, and NOT a smart TV ... which is just what I wanted this time around. If you are in the market for a very nice, easy to use, 50 inch, basic television, then this might be one to consider as a your main or extra unit.

GREAT TV! Greaaaat Price!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Toshiba went out after almost 5 years. I know someone who can tinker with it to possibly get the picture back, but with TVs being so cheap, I knew I wanted an Insignia and I knew I wanted it from Best Buy (i bought my daughter a 32 inch one for Christmas last year). I did my research and found it online for $199.99. When I got to the store the next day, the price had gone up to $229.99. **ALWAYS ASK WHAT THE LOWEST ADVERTISED PRICE HAS BEEN** There is a certain range of time over which they can honor the old price. Friendly customer service, quick service. From the time I got out of my car until the time i got back in it, maybe 12 minutes had passed. The picture is clear (and easily adjustable), the sound is great, and it was super easy to install. I use a firestick so once I got it up on the wall, I was in business in moments! Would recommend this TV to anyone! Love the quality, the size and the price!

This is an awesome TV for $250!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new garage/man-cave TV after my old 46" Mitsubishi 1080 series projection died. I didn't need anything fancy, just wanted an HD 50" with minimal features. It's not a 4k TV, and the picture is slower than the Sony in my living room, but then again this thing wasn't $1000. This is a good bedroom, patio, work, and garage tv that doesn't break the bank. The only negative thing I have to say is the speakers just don't provide enough volume in a loud area. You'll probably want a sound bar at a minimum if you intend to use it outdoors. It does have an audio output, a digital optical output, and an ARC HDMI port, so you can hook just about any speaker system you want to it. I scored an older Klipsch promedia 2.1 speaker system for dirt cheap and the TV sounds great now.....even in my noisy garage

Great TV at a low affordable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've own 2 Insignia 50" for the past 2 years now. They both work perfect, no issues and very good 1080p picture quality. For the price they are a steal. Plus if you want to make it a smart TV just get a Roku Express for $20.

Great Niche TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV for my 94-year-old mother in law because it was simple: not a smart TV, no internet needed (or available). It was too big for her stand so I swapped with her with my 10 year old Samsung 40" 720p HDTV. I was reluctant to keep it with all the bells and whistles on name-brand TVs today, but I gave it a try. I have a Roku stick so I didn't need a Smart TV. The picture is fantastic; good blacks, no banding, no motion blur. Perfect. For $199 it's definitely a step upward for me!

Tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this tv 4 years now and I love it. Haven’t had any issues until now and it’s just the remote. Not sure if it’s just the batteries or if it’s just going out.

Great size tv for a really low price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I wanted to upgrade our living room tv which is a 3 year old Samsung 32 inch 1080p tv. We were in our local Best Buy and we bought this tv for $250 after taxes! It has a great picture and sound and was packed really well in the box for a budget tv. I would highly recommend this tv if your looking for a good no frills tv for your living room or bedroom. Excellent price for this tv! Thanks Best Buy!
