I purchased my first Insignia back in 2009, still working to this day. Its seen me get married, have twins, get two jobs, move 5 times and it's been durable through it all lol. Highly recommend this brand. I now have 3 Insignia TV's in my home.

I do not like the base for this TV. It should be the base that goes in the middle of the tv so it can set on any tv stand. If you do not have a tv stand that is at least 44 inches long you will not be able to put this tv on it.

Shortly after i got it, the main board went out. Best buy was able to provide the replacement part although i installed it myself. Works fine since. Would recommend the extended warranty on it. Other than that, looks great and sounds great.

I bought this 50" insignia based on price and so far I'm not disappointed. Works great as a secondary TV for video games and sports viewing. I also like that each input can be custom named and configured and it has a pixel for pixel mode. I wouldn't mind more HDMI ports but I was cool with 3 when I purchased.

This is a replacement TV that was under warranty....This TV was used several years running day & night. We used our warranty..,they came out..assessed that it needed to be replaced and returned to remove the old one and leave the new one...hurray !

This is the only off brand TV I'll buy! Since it's only at Best Buy and they know their tech stuff, that gotta means that the TV is good. It's a good brand that meets expectations and it's the second Insignia that I bought for the house hold!

It’s not 4K but got it at a good price. Not too much 4K content at the moment so this will suffice. One drawback: not smart TV so need your own Roku or Fire TV or google Chromecast or Apple TV to turn it into smart TV. It has worked flawlessly so far.

Not Ideal for Signage

I wanted an affordable option for digital menu signage in our cafe and although they are lightweight, a great size and price, there are a few drawbacks to using them for this purpose. When the USB is inserted, you cannot access the TV's main settings menu--like screen brightness, backlighting, etc. I wanted to decrease the brightness on the screens while viewing the menu via the USB drive, and it wasn't possible. When I was able to adjust the brightness, I couldn't discern a difference (even though I decreased it to 5 from 50) when I put the USB back in, so I don't know if inserting the USB overrides the TV's settings back to default.

Hi.
The TV is made for residential use. Business use will void the warranty and it is not really equipped with functions to be used as a rotating Menu. You are much better using a smart TV, like our Fire TVs ready to purchase at any Best Buy Store.

I am really impressed by the Insignia brand. This is my 3rd purchase and I've been pleased with every one. If you just need a great TV at a great price, and don't need the bells and whistles, Insignia is the way to go.

I got this for my mother in law who who was tired of paying for cable and only watches two Chanel’s, JSN and local news. Both of these are available OTA so this is perfect for her. It’s only been about three weeks but so far so good.

After doing a little research I found out this is the lower brand Toshiba make of TVs. While I am not a big fan of Smart TVs, I find this TV to be great for what I needed it for. Also, a great presentation monitor as well.

We bought this because we know it did not have the smart features. We rarely used it on out other tv. It has not ever given any issues and does its job well. Have no complaints about this product.
