This product works remarkably! I purchased this product for my basement and it works perfectly. I truly can’t believe how much water it has pulled out of my basement ! I am very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone!

Easy to set up. Dropped humidity by 15 points the first day. Automatic hose works great if you have a place to set it up. My only complaint is the amount of heat it generates. The fan throws out a lot of heat and raised the temperature in my basement quite a bit.

This is my third time buying. The first one worked really well so I bought a second. I only use them in the summer when the humidity is high. The first one stopped working during the second season of use. I did purchase the same model as a replacement but this time I opted for the geek squad protection. I find that most dehumidifiers no matter what brand you buy are hit or miss. If you can get it on sale the discount pays for the protection plan.

Bought this dehumidifier in early January 2023 to dehumidify our basement which encountered seepage during heavy rains. Since I plugged this unit in it has worked flawlessly to remove a lot of moisture from the basement. As the basement is about 2600 square feet, I started out at about 65% humidity and today I am at 40% (my setting). This unit does have a drain option for a garden hose. I purchased a small hose section at Home Depot, attached it, and it began to auto drain. As I was emptying the dehumidifier bucket 3 times daily so this was a real back saver. The controls are easy to use and via a digital readout shows the set humidity and the current level of humidity. The unit has an average amount of noise when running on the Turbo fan setting (highest) based on experience with prior brands. Quiet with lower fan speeds.

This dehumidifier has worked out great! I could believe how well it work out and all the moisture it's collected in each room of my house. I will be getting another!

So during the summer my basement started smelling musty. I looked at different dehumidifiers and was considering a more expensive unit, then this one went on sale. At about half the price of the other unit I considered, I thought it was worth the risk. I have used Insignia products before, but just small stuff like phone charges. I have no complaints. It did exactly what it was supposed to do right out of the box. Really nice to be able to set the humidity target and just let it do it’s thing. Used the bucket a little while to get a sense of how much moisture it was pulling out of the air. It pulls a lot of moisture! I later hooked up the drain hose, so I didn’t have to worry about emptying the bucket. I was half wondering if I should have gotten a bigger unit, but I got over that pretty quickly. Musty smell in basement went away in less than a day after turning it on. Now that the weather is cooler, it hasn’t turned on for quite a while. Unit is loud enough to be noticeable, if I am in the basement, but not obtrusive. I can’t hear it at all in the rest of the house. I am happy with how it is working and I would recommend it.

Excellent dehumidifier! Has lots of options and is energy efficient. It’s sleek looking, but does collect dust very easily on its surface. Fairly quiet as well. It’s an amazing machine that pulls TONS of moisture out of the air at a super quick rate! I was amazed at how much it had in the tank already after only about 1hr.

I have had this for a few months and it has been working quite well. It had a great humidity sensor that seems to be accurate. It turns on as the humidity rises over what my settings are and turns off when it drops below those settings. Its fairly quiet. Seems well built. It is a bit difficult to get the bucket back in after emptying but I have gotten used to that. Good value for the money. Time will tell how long it will last. I would purchase again.

Great dehumidifier, it is quiet which I appreciate, and does what it's supposed to do. Didn't have a problem with the basement getting damp all summer in Michigan humidity.

Works as described. Takes the moisture out of the air. Fairly quiet and very effective. It does everything needed to resolve a moisture issue. Very happy with my purchase. Hope it continues to work for a long time. I strongly recommend this product.

Works very well. I use this in my garage, which does not have an insulated door so humidity does build quickly without this running. It quickly brought the humidity down from 70% to 50% when i first ran it within an hour or two. In WV with humidity frequently reaching the 80s-90s in summer, this keeps the humidity relatively low in the garage. I only need to empty it 1-2 times a week depending on ambient humidity levels. I would have given 5 stars, but the controls outside of just setting the humidity level are a little confusing, even with the included instructions. I would consider this 4.5/5

Best dehumidifier for this price! Needed a dehumidifier to put in our basement and this was affordable and highly rated, absolutely worth it!! Does great and love that we can attach a hose to drain right into the croc or dump it.

It works like a dream come true! It has a hook-up for continuous mode so you don't have to dump the bucket when full. Simply screw your garden hose on and stick it in a drain! Awesome machine!

Hoping for something a little quieter but this one is definitely quieter than my old one plus it shuts off when set humidity is reached. Taking tons of water out of my unfinished basement.

First the pros then the cons, This machine is a work horse!! It fills up fast within 2-3 hours and auto shuts off when it's full, so you just turn it on and let it go to work, this thing works just as good as any other brand and costs less!! I also purchased the 4 year protection plan because I don't trust todays craftsmanship. there are a few cons with this machine, along with any other dehumidifier the air that it pushes out is... Hot, yes in the hot weather with highest humidity, this machine pushes out more hot air and it can raise the temperature in a room dramatically. I need to pair this dehumidifier with an air conditioner that I am able to set the temperature to, normally I have the air conditioner set to 73, but the heat that this machine pushes out I need to set the A.C. to 76/77/78 or the AC won't take breaks and constantly run. this is one of the best purchases I could have made, before my walls and window shutters would be wet from the humidity. There also seems to be craftmanship problems surfacing, I have noticed (i think) that something seems to be malfunctioning or functioning correctly by shutting off or shutting off temporarily, I have noticed that it sometimes pushes out cold air, and sometimes squeals or something inside turns off with a shaking rumble sound. don't really know what the + and - next to the humidity display not sure if that function works or how to set it. I purchased this late last season and have waited til this season to review just hope it lasts past the 4 years. if you are looking for a dehumidifier this is the best bang for the buck

Separated sections of my basement so bought this to augment existing humidifier and quickly realized how poorly the old one worked. Drops and holds humidity at setpoint great (verified by external temp/humidity gauge. Picked this one due to reviews and sale price, turned out to be great.
