Bought one for downstairs and one for upstairs. Must have, especially in Florida. Removes so much moisture from the air, easy to empty, and not worried about excessive moisture and mold due to the high humidity anymore.

First time with this model. I am very pleased after 2 months of use. This was a great deal and I’ve always spent top dollar in past only to have dehumidifiers fail time and time again. Using it in finished basement.

We have a super old house with a damp musty basement. This was a game changer. Works really well and has dried out our large basement very nicely. The only downfall is that it did not come with a drainage hose and we had to buy one separately. Due to the basements moisture, we were emptying the bucket 3xs a day. Once we bought a hose we were able to have it continuously drain thru the floor drain with no interruption. I am impressed with how much it pulled out of the basement air.

This dehumidifier is terrific! It has removed all extra moisture from my basement. The damp musty smell in the basement is gone. it has run everyday and it is truly energy efficient with little impact on my electric bill. I highly recommend this product.

This dehumidifier has worked out great! I could believe how well it work out and all the moisture it's collected in each room of my house. I will be getting another!

I've owned this Dehumidifier for a little over a month. It's been very effective at decreasing the moisture level of my basement, it's definitely more comfortable down there as the overall humidity level is now moderate. Seems like I have to empty the impressive reservoir about once a week and it is easy to complete this task without a struggle. The dehumidifier seems well built and I anticipate it lasting a good long while. My only complaint is that is relatively noisy when it runs. It's not terrible but it definitely distracting when I'm watching a movie. It pretty much runs all the time, but when it does kick off it seems like it turns back on within less then a minute. I'm sure that's the most efficient design but I can't say I have any engineering experience in designing a dehumidifier. Overall I'm very happy, for the price I think this guy has meant my expectations.

This is my third time buying. The first one worked really well so I bought a second. I only use them in the summer when the humidity is high. The first one stopped working during the second season of use. I did purchase the same model as a replacement but this time I opted for the geek squad protection. I find that most dehumidifiers no matter what brand you buy are hit or miss. If you can get it on sale the discount pays for the protection plan.

I bought this on sale as a potential back-up for another dehumidifier from a prominent brand name we have been using for about 5 years. In testing it for a few days, I found this is quieter and runs really well in comfort mode. I switched them out permanently to make this our primary unit a couple of weeks ago based on these initial impressions.

Purchased this to get my humidity levels down after having my main drain in the basement get backed up and flood some. First few times I had to empty it out pretty quickly for obvious reasons but now can I don't have to empty it out as often. It was easy plug in and ready to go. I've had it less than a week but happy so far.

I have had this for a few months and it has been working quite well. It had a great humidity sensor that seems to be accurate. It turns on as the humidity rises over what my settings are and turns off when it drops below those settings. Its fairly quiet. Seems well built. It is a bit difficult to get the bucket back in after emptying but I have gotten used to that. Good value for the money. Time will tell how long it will last. I would purchase again.

Bought this dehumidifier in early January 2023 to dehumidify our basement which encountered seepage during heavy rains. Since I plugged this unit in it has worked flawlessly to remove a lot of moisture from the basement. As the basement is about 2600 square feet, I started out at about 65% humidity and today I am at 40% (my setting). This unit does have a drain option for a garden hose. I purchased a small hose section at Home Depot, attached it, and it began to auto drain. As I was emptying the dehumidifier bucket 3 times daily so this was a real back saver. The controls are easy to use and via a digital readout shows the set humidity and the current level of humidity. The unit has an average amount of noise when running on the Turbo fan setting (highest) based on experience with prior brands. Quiet with lower fan speeds.

Easy to set up. Dropped humidity by 15 points the first day. Automatic hose works great if you have a place to set it up. My only complaint is the amount of heat it generates. The fan throws out a lot of heat and raised the temperature in my basement quite a bit.

This dehumidifier works like a charm! Easy to operate and pretty quiet too. Great purchase for the money!

Great dehumidifier, it is quiet which I appreciate, and does what it's supposed to do. Didn't have a problem with the basement getting damp all summer in Michigan humidity.

Works very well. I use this in my garage, which does not have an insulated door so humidity does build quickly without this running. It quickly brought the humidity down from 70% to 50% when i first ran it within an hour or two. In WV with humidity frequently reaching the 80s-90s in summer, this keeps the humidity relatively low in the garage. I only need to empty it 1-2 times a week depending on ambient humidity levels. I would have given 5 stars, but the controls outside of just setting the humidity level are a little confusing, even with the included instructions. I would consider this 4.5/5

So during the summer my basement started smelling musty. I looked at different dehumidifiers and was considering a more expensive unit, then this one went on sale. At about half the price of the other unit I considered, I thought it was worth the risk. I have used Insignia products before, but just small stuff like phone charges. I have no complaints. It did exactly what it was supposed to do right out of the box. Really nice to be able to set the humidity target and just let it do it’s thing. Used the bucket a little while to get a sense of how much moisture it was pulling out of the air. It pulls a lot of moisture! I later hooked up the drain hose, so I didn’t have to worry about emptying the bucket. I was half wondering if I should have gotten a bigger unit, but I got over that pretty quickly. Musty smell in basement went away in less than a day after turning it on. Now that the weather is cooler, it hasn’t turned on for quite a while. Unit is loud enough to be noticeable, if I am in the basement, but not obtrusive. I can’t hear it at all in the rest of the house. I am happy with how it is working and I would recommend it.

Excellent dehumidifier! Has lots of options and is energy efficient. It’s sleek looking, but does collect dust very easily on its surface. Fairly quiet as well. It’s an amazing machine that pulls TONS of moisture out of the air at a super quick rate! I was amazed at how much it had in the tank already after only about 1hr.

Hoping for something a little quieter but this one is definitely quieter than my old one plus it shuts off when set humidity is reached. Taking tons of water out of my unfinished basement.

Seems to be performing as expected. A fairly quiet unit compared to my previous dehumidifiers. Hoping to get better than 3 years out of it.

Works as described. Takes the moisture out of the air. Fairly quiet and very effective. It does everything needed to resolve a moisture issue. Very happy with my purchase. Hope it continues to work for a long time. I strongly recommend this product.
