Good dehumidifier at a great price. Bought an open-box item, It comes with some cosmetic defects(bent leg), which is expected with an open-box item. Working great, simple, easy to use. Not sure why I saw many open-box units in the BestBuy Outlet.

Rating this after a month's usage. Very easy to use and has really pulled in a lot of moisture in a short time. Easy to roll around to necessary areas of home.

At this time we are happy as the unit has performed as advertised. Our basement has a better climate than previously.

I rent a 1500 SF office with a 600 SF basement last month. Before I used this dehumidifier, every time when I walk into the office, the air smells damp and musty, yak！ The basement was even worse, it was cold and humid, kind of like you are walking into a cave. The worst part was the smells will stick to your hair and your clothes. Now, the basement is warm and dry, no more damp and musty smells in the office, and no more moldy smell left on my hair and clothes. Recommend it!

Works very well. Extracts a lot of moisture in a short amount of time. Relatively quite but somewhat heavy. New purchase so not sure about durability yet. Time will tell.

I had an old dehumidifier that was still working but not well. Installed this one and while the old one could never get down below 55 percent humidity this one is able to get down to 40. It works well and the hose hookup on the back is easy and works great. The bucket is a bit of a pain to get back in but since I have it drain all the time I don't have to worry about the bucket. It does seem to put out a good bit more hot air than my last one but it is working so that is okay.

We needed to replace an existing dehumidifier in our basement. This one was a great choice. It runs quietly. The water bucket is easy to empty and it is great at getting all the moisture out of the basement.

Needed a newer, quieter dehumidifier. Saw this on sale and thought I would give the Best Buy brand a try. This little unit works very well. Pulls out humidity quickly and rather quietly.

The only thing that is a bummer is that i was under the impression that the drain cord was in the box. It is sold separately. I would have gotten it if i had known..... I was told it came with...

I have older dehumidifier The plastic drawer is thicker but yours puts out heat which is a plus and it runs great

We've had a few dehumidifiers in our houses, and while I can't say what "pint" rating they've had (some were really pretty old and definitely before there was any kind of standard rating), this one far and away pulls more moisture out of the air. Frankly I'm shocked at how much and how quickly it dehumidifies! Like the catch bin fills up at least 2x a day! I'm very tempted to "field modify" it with a drain hose directly to the basement floor drain, but since it's brand new I feel a little weird putting holes in it already... Aside from the highly effective dehumidification, it's also not annoyingly loud, and has pretty easy to use controls. Would buy again, and very well might buy again soon for mom's house!

This has been an excellent dehumidifier. Bought for my mom and she has brought the humidity in her house down from a constant 70% to 43%. It feels much better and is healthier for her to get the humidity under control. She loves it. I have considered buying a second smaller one for a bedroom as well. Highly recommend if you have any humidity problems. It does put out a little heat while running but that’s normal and not unmanageable for the difference it makes.

This Insignia NS-DH50WH1 50-pint dehumidifier is working very well so far. Keeping my 1900 square foot basement nice and dry.

I bought this because I desperately needed a dehumidifier for the old house I’m renting- the humidity is terrible, especially in this hotter than usual KY heat. This model was on sale as a daily deal- price was great compared to others I have been looking at. So far, this has been a great purchase! I empty it at least once, and most time twice a day. It’s ready to use straight from the box. I also bought the 35 pint (same brand) at a later time, also on sale on daily deal. This brand machine has been fantastic so far! It makes a noise, but personally I don’t think it’s too loud. Best Buy has such good daily deals! So thankful to get this brand machine at such a great price.

I bought 2 of these units. The first one being the smaller one then the second being the bigger unit. These work amazing and sucks so much water out of air in the basement. I have to empty one on a daily basis and other one drains right to the drain. Ive noticed these units not only keeps air drier, basement from stinking but also keeps it warmer. Im happy with purchases and recommend

Good dehumidifier for large basement. Pulls out a lot of humidity in a couple hours. Easy to empty and turbo fan is nice feature.

Overall works great and keeps the house comfy. I kept it in our lower level with plenty of space around it that is kept free of dust. It is easy to clean and we could only barely hear it on the level above if we were near the stairs. The empty tank beep is just loud and frequent enough to catch in case you forget to check it. After about 18 months since I purchased it, I recently noticed there was a build up of frost on the unit. No lights or anything were on indicating an error. I let it thaw overnight, double checked the filter was clean, which it was, and plugged it back in. It kicked on as normal and I left it to do it’s thing. The next day I went to check on it and noticed there was no water in the tank. I turned it off and then turned it back in on which I could tell that only the fan was running and not the compressor. I’m not sure it is the compressor itself or what, but I’m doubtful there are any repair options. Not sure if I will give it another try or not, the insignia fridges and freezers have always worked great for me.

Works great, better than the more expensive ones we have purchased over the years, they never made it out of warranty!
