I bought this because I desperately needed a dehumidifier for the old house I’m renting- the humidity is terrible, especially in this hotter than usual KY heat. This model was on sale as a daily deal- price was great compared to others I have been looking at. So far, this has been a great purchase! I empty it at least once, and most time twice a day. It’s ready to use straight from the box. I also bought the 35 pint (same brand) at a later time, also on sale on daily deal. This brand machine has been fantastic so far! It makes a noise, but personally I don’t think it’s too loud. Best Buy has such good daily deals! So thankful to get this brand machine at such a great price.

It's easy to use and heavier than you'd expect so be careful when you take it out of the box. Surprised how much water it takes out every day! I just dump the water in the tub, and that works fine for me. Love it!

It's a good-quality, made-in-America product. It looks like a heavy, great system with a good capacity bucket, no sound, and easy auto settings. The pricing is also not bad.

Overall works great and keeps the house comfy. I kept it in our lower level with plenty of space around it that is kept free of dust. It is easy to clean and we could only barely hear it on the level above if we were near the stairs. The empty tank beep is just loud and frequent enough to catch in case you forget to check it. After about 18 months since I purchased it, I recently noticed there was a build up of frost on the unit. No lights or anything were on indicating an error. I let it thaw overnight, double checked the filter was clean, which it was, and plugged it back in. It kicked on as normal and I left it to do it’s thing. The next day I went to check on it and noticed there was no water in the tank. I turned it off and then turned it back in on which I could tell that only the fan was running and not the compressor. I’m not sure it is the compressor itself or what, but I’m doubtful there are any repair options. Not sure if I will give it another try or not, the insignia fridges and freezers have always worked great for me.

Good dehumidifier for large basement. Pulls out a lot of humidity in a couple hours. Easy to empty and turbo fan is nice feature.

This is my second unit I’ve purchased for a second house. My first one is still going after over 5 years. This is the one brand I use all year round. These definitely last longer than other brands. Brings humidity down. Will turn off when it reaches its set humidity. I have it hooked up via the continuous drain. Knock on wood, haven’t had an issue with these. Other brands last at most 2 summers so about 6-8 months of use and they did.

This product is a workhorse. This dehumidifier effectively removes moisture from the area where I have placed it. I have in a converted attic with a bathroom/shower. I have this continuously on to remove humidity, and it never ceases to amaze me how much moisture it removes. I have a hygrometer to ensure comfortable humidity levels.

Seems to be working pretty well. Using in the lower level of our beach cottage, which was pretty musty. Attached a garden hose segment and have it draining into an unused bathtub, as this is not our primary resin. May have given 5 stars, but the manual left a lot to be desired. I actually called for assistance and the representative was of no help (as he was reading from the same manual. I finally figured out by pushing buttons on my own and was able to set the humidity percentage.

Works like it should and is quiet too. Keeps the humidity in the basement where I set it.

It works perfect for a large basement of more than 1500 SQFT. I would recommend them for the value. They are energy certified and eligible for rebates from the utility companies.

Had an older dehumidifier that was very loud.. this one is extremely quiet and love the metered settings so you can control that it is only on to obtain a certain humidity percentage

Machine does a nice job. So quiet you have to check to see if it is running. Big improvement over my last machine.

It was delivered a day early. It is pretty quiet. Easy to to empty!

Does as it says. Pretty minimal when it comes to noise. And super easy to use. Didn’t realize how much 50 pints was till now.

performs well, fits in my basement space, blows warm air out while working; needs flat surface to sit on, not a "plush" carpet. I would recommend to family & friends

Used in my laundry room in my basement, this is a workhorse. Moisture is quickly pulled as evidenced by water collection reservoir. Not too loud. Easy to use and set up. Recommended.
