Works great, and runs quietly. Easy to use and setup. Level indicator makes it easy to see how full it is.

I live in a house that was built in 1900, the basement has a lot of moisture in the summer. I run this from May/June till August/September and it keeps my basement dry all summer. I use the hose drain and run it to a floor drain and it is constantly dripping, with out that I would have to empty the tank a couple times a day.

As a deal of the day, a good value. Easy controls. On continuous mode, it picks the humidity level. Per the manual, no ability to change.

This dehumidifier does a fantastic job of reducing the humidity in my downstairs bedroom. It’s almost too good since I could empty it three times in a 24 hour period.

It really does the job, we are very happy with the amount of water being captured in the bucket. Easy to set, easy to empty, easy to roll, and quiet.

Purchased this to control humidity in a workshop. The 2000 sq-ft building has good ventilation and insulation but humidity was a problem. The online reviews of units this size state that it can handle 4500 sq ft room/building. I don't know how it handles rooms/buildings that size, but for my building with 16ft ceilings, this unit does a really good job of extracting moisture from the environment. The connector on the back allowed for easy attachment of at standard water hose so that it can operate continuously without interruption to empty container.

No issues, runs well and overall quiet. Easy to operate and clean, can attach a garden hose to drain easily, so I keep mine one all the time.

This dehumidifier is a work horse I put it in my cellar and and empty it twice a day at first. Now it’s settled down to emptying once a day A big difference in moisture or lack of

Have only used it once at this point, but was very impressed with how quickly it could take moisture out of the air and how noticeably dry the air seemed afteward. It would be five starts were it not for the shipping. It arrived in one piece and good shape, which is a miracle after seeing how it was packaged for shipping.

It’s a great dehumidifier! Definitely feel a difference in the environment. Right now I’m emptying the dehumidifier twice a day! So it’s getting the job done. Definitely considering to hook it up to a nearby drain.

With summer humidity comes dampness in the basement. We purchased the Insignia 50 pt. dehumidifier because the smaller unit we had was filling up too quickly and shutting down, requiring it needing to be emptied too often. This unit is doing the job quite well and only needs emptying once a day on humid days. It has helped make our basement rec room more livable. The price was good and the delivery was sooner than expected, so we are very pleased that we ordered this unit from BestBuy

This insignia dehumidifier has performed flawless to this point of the season. I use the drain hose in the basement. Replaced a GE dehumidifier which of course stopped working at 13 months one month after warranty purchased the extended warranty for this unit
