I already had another model of 35-pint model. I use it for my master bathroom after taking a shower. It is really working well and keeps my master bathroom clean. When I need another one, I did not hesitate at all, and went to BB to buy this bigger model immediately. Really love it.

This thing pulls a ton of water out if the air. I have it in my basement and if i rub it full blast i jeed to empty the tank every day easy. I'm working on getting it hooked into a drain so i never need to worry about manually emptying the tank. I would buy this again.

a bit flimsy for the cost of the unit. The tank is not easy to empty and replace, it always sticks when putting it back ( am sure it will break pre-maturely in due time). The timer on the unit is not designed well at all. It must be re-set every time the unit turns on/off. They should have designed a better way to set the timer to go on or off at set intervals. The unit does work in removing humidity from my basement.

Works well, good price. This is my second insignia dehumidifier and both work well.

This is the best dehumidifier I’ve used. It’s been non stop raining and has kept my humidity around 35 - 40 percent when it was upwards to 90 percent. Removes about 5 gallons of water every 24 hours

works as good as other brands or better..just as quiet also..

I have only used this dehumidifier for a few weeks but am happy with its performance so far. My only complaint would be that the cabinet seems not very sturdy. I go the extended geek warranty and feel that with that I can be assured the dehumidifier will last longer than my last dehumidifier. At this point I would probably buy this item again. But only time will tell.

Within 1 day of when I hooked up the new Dehumidifier, the humidity in our house when from 50% to 35%. We had another one that would run all the time and it could only get to about 48%. This is a great dehumidifier, and we love it.

If this unit continues to work as it has worked so far, I would consider changing the review to a 5. I read all of the sources that advised against buying a home dehumidifier manufactured in China. I wish you good luch in finding a unit manufactured outside of China.

I bought this Insignia dehumidifier to replace an old GE one that I had that wasn't working properly anymore. This unit is well-made, relatively quiet, and gets the job done, with an automatic shut-off feature when it reaches the desired humidity setting and/or when the "bucket" gets full. I would have given it 5 stars except that my only slight negative is that the bucket is a little hard to fully seat back into the unit after you take it out to empty it - it takes a bit of jiggling and a shove or two to get it back in fully.

unit arrived on time as there weren't any in stock, price was cheaper than others in the same size, this replaced a GE that died exactly 4 years from purchase, this was the second GE I had neither lasted more than 4 years, hopefully this one will last at least 4, plugged it in and when it started humidity was at 65% I like to keep my basement at 45% checked it in the morning and it was 45%. very happy with it so far.

This dehumidifier is very easy to use. It has Low noise.

We caught this item on sale and it is definitely worth what we paid! Love that it is larger so we don't have to empty from the basement too often! Multiple settings and options for how you want your dehumidifier to run, just took me a few tries to realize how to set it the way I wanted because there aren't really instructions, just a labelled diagram of what the buttons are.

The unit is quiet compared to my Kenmore predecessor. The water bin feels a little low on the sturdy side.

I was very surprised at the amount of moisture that this dehumidifier started picking up within the first 24 hours of use the 50 pint reservoir was filled with water. I'm very satisfied with this product from Insignia. I also bought this on sale so I was very pleased with that as well.

It's been great. I hooked it up to a hose and haven't had to even think about it. I've comfortably raised my thermostat by 1 degree. It was a good buy!
