really dries up the basement

Has worked well so far. Unit is fairly quiet except when the Turbo = high fan is activated. The water container has a handle that makes it easy to move even when full. Putting the water container back requires careful alignment or it will not slide back into the body. Power consumption running the unit non-stop is high - but it really is a compressor driven AC. The room where the humidifier is located will heat up quite a bit. Not really a problem when drying a floor but perhaps for lowering humidity level in a bedroom.

Good - but arrived dirty

I did notice the same problem as a few other reviewers. The unit bucket arrived already dirty… as if I had received a pre-owned product. Not a great first impression, but it works well.

We live in an older house and with a crawl space and have been unsuccessful in airing it out until getting this dehumidifier. It made a huge difference in the air quality within only about 5 hours. easy to empty and set up! so far working great!

Very efficient dehumidifier

We were flooded last year and my old dehumidifier was destroyed along with 75% of my other stuff. We fixed up our house and bought this. It turned my musty smelling basement into a dry normal smelling livable space. We hooked up a hose to drain into the sump pump and don't have to empty the dehumidifier.

The ONLY negative at all is that the water compartment can sometimes be a little tricky to put back in place. VERY minor in the grand scheme of dehumidification.
