The bucket is slightly cumbersome to empty but if you're careful, it won't spill. Consider purchasing a hose if youre able to hook this up to a pump or a drain to save yourself ferrying buckets around

I purchased this as a replacement and bought the extended warranty. Insignia being the house brand of Best Buy, I have hopes that this will last for at least a few years. Had the product delivered to my home for free. The dehumidifier was delivered the next day with no issues at all. Positive experience all around.

I have it in my basement and it works great. Going to get a hose so it drains by itself instead of having to hand empty.

I am happy to report after using this for almost a month it’s doing its job perfectly. I haven’t yet used the direct piped exhaust line so cannot comment about that but it’s not something I’ve needed so far

This one is way more quiet and seems more powerful. We live in a basement apartment and it does get humid, but this unit takes care of the humidity quickly and quietly.

A little loud at highest setting but I let running in the basement with the hose attachment so no need to empty when full. It's been running non-stop for almost a year and runs like it's stright out of the box.

Great for Bee Keepers

I use it to aid drying out the honey for processing. It works great. When not in my honey shed, it does double duty in the house. It works wonderful there also.

Its almost always musty down there. This dehumidifier has cut back on the smell considerably, and you can definitely feel the decrease of moisture. I can actually store boxes down there now
