It definitely draws moisture out of the air in my basement. A little loud, but I've had louder.

Great product. helps the home stay dry during humid months

I needed a dehumidifier for my basement. This works well with little input from me. It has a comfort zone setting available so that I don't have to fiddle with the individual controls, but for those who like that, you have those options. The bucket is easy to empty, with a nice handle that's exposed then you pull out the bucket, but it can be heavy when it's full. I haven't tried attaching a hose to the drain yet, but plan to do so, and it's great that I have that option.

Our old dehumidifier died about 6 months ago - we have been looking and found this one - for less than anywhere else. We didn't know how much we needed one again - until it filled up in 3 days! It will definitely save our items from getting wonky in the basement.

Purchased this item for our basement. It was easy to install. It works great.

Works great for taking moisture out of my basement

Great Dehumidifier for the price. Using this unit for a basement area and liked that I could attach a hose to the back and dump water in to a sump pump and not worry about emptying the units tank.

Good dehumidifier, sucks up a lot of humidity in my basement. Only downside is having to empty it each time. In addition, when you pull the canister out it sometimes continues to run and the water leaks down.

I use this Insignia 50-Pint Dehumidifier for the semi-finished basement. It works quite well and reduces excess moisture in the basement which tends to get damp and humid during the warm months May to September. I am comfortable reccomending this product.

Got it on sale. Removes a lot of water. Using the constant drain feature can be tricky. Even after confirming the thread size.

This powerful dehumidifier gets the job done. I elevated onto sturdy wooden box and connected the water drain to a shortened garden hose. I attached the hose ending into furnace condenser ejection pump. I set it and forgot it.

Good buy for the money spent. Was easy to set up. So far we are having to empty it everyday, but will probably use hose attachment soon.

There’s nothing sexy about a dehumidifier. You set it up and expect it to do its job well. That’s exactly what this unit did. Easy to un box and set up, and it’s been doing its job well since then.

Working good at keeping basement dry, around 50% humidity during the summer. Got it on sale, otherwise regular price is a bit steep.

This is a good humidifier. It is pretty quiet and works well. I like being able to control it with an app.

Highly recommend. This is my first dehumidifier and I notice it makes my room about 4-9 degrees hotter because it sucks up water vapor in the air. I have a room with no windows and also have a swamp air cooler. If you live in a room with no windows and you want to keep cool a swamp air cooler and a dehumidifier is the best combo. The swamp air cooler pushes out a bit of water to keep you cool and the dehumidifier sucks it up. My rooms definitely turned into a science. THEdehumidifier does its job perfectly. Also having one this combo I highly recommend getting a temperature gauge with humidity level reading that way you can figure out what's the best levels of humidity and temperature for your room. When I first got it I have the dehumidifier on blast and it made my room extremely hot. I realized in time what the best level of dehumidity I need for my room.

This product was easy to set up. Then when I decided to hook up a hoes to the unit to run all year round, was the best decision.
