Seems to work very well and very easy to set up and start working. Feel like it was a great purchase for our basement.

As good as any name brand. Unfortunately none of them last very long any more. I recommend purchasing the extended warranty. My first Insignia dehumidifier created a block of ice, presumably when the defrost sensor failed. Took it to BB with photos of the ice and they replaced it with a new one. Fortunately I was within the standard warranty period, but had purchased an extended warranty (just in case) based on my experience with other brands.

Let’s you know when needs to be empty. Auto shut off. Easy to empty. Did not how much moisture was in one home. Only down thing is it’s slightly loud.

I liked it had defrost and other features. Overall great but would have like to go further below 35% humidity and more setting configuration to set humidity with turbo function, etc.

We live on the Texas Coast and I did not realize how much this helped. Time to order one for my downstairs office, bathroom and storeroom!

When using the tray to collect water I had to keep it near my sink bc when full it got heavy. Eventually I invested in a 3ft hose to keep it continously draining.
