The big test will be longevity, will it hold up for more than a year before the coils start icing up, only time will tell.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.seems to work, with a couple of questions #1. everything is plastic and aluminum.., #2. settings are about 20% off humidity level as per my other 2 hydrometers set for 59% and turns off at 65%humidity,, #3 AND THE MOST IMPORTANT CHECK BASKET,,, MINE CAME WITH THE AUTO SHUT OFF CONTROLLER INSTALLED BACKWARDS HAD TO SPRING PLASTIC APART AND SWITH AROUND SO AS TO WORK,, and be carefull removing and installing catch basket,, ie: very tight and easily misaligned and will break cheap plastic
