It lets you know when its full, and you can see through the clear part in the front when it's almost full so if you're going away for the weekend, you'll know if you need to dump it before it even beeps at you! It also comes with a hose for auto drain but we haven't hooked that up yet!

I bought it for the larger capacity and it doesn't have to be emptied too often. It runs a bit loud but not too loud between walls.
