My experience with this dehumidifier has so far been excellent. It shipped right away and was delivered quickly. It performs very well for my needs, and is fairly quiet. In my experience it’s how long a dehumidifier works well, that determines its quality. The cost of this unit was low, I’m hoping it will last for 5 years. If it does, it will be a good buy.

I am amazed at how much water this thing pulls out of the air! I live in Florida, my humidity used to be about 55% in my condo, and I'm always worried about mold. I set the humidity level to the lowest setting, and I am emptying this thing once to twice a day FULL of water. My humidity is never above 45% now. It has a hose, but I haven't figured out where to put it yet to drain. I'm assuming that's why it never gets to 35%, but 35% is really low for Florida, and I'm happy with it in the 40's.
The filter is reusable. It will have a red light and you just pop it out, rinse it off, let it dry, and you're good to go.
It's big and bulky, an eyesore in my kitchen, but you can't get around that with dehumidifiers- it is what it is. However, the wheels are amazing, you can effortlessly roll it.
Great deal, especially for under $200

It works very well removing the moisture, but I use the hose to send the water straight into the sump pump. Many times, the water goes into the bucket instead, and I have to empty it. It’s in the basement, so I don’t always know when it needs dumping. Maybe the hose is linked, but it can be a hassle.

We bought this unit a year and a half ago and it is still going strong. It's not as quiet as we'd like, but not noisy either. More like a portable AC unit. We live in Central Texas, on a river where the humidity is normally in the 70-95% range. We dump the bucket 1-2 times a day depending on how what the outside weather is like. Our house is an open floor plan two story(2200 sq ft) and we keep this downstairs in the living room and it works great and we don't even notice it's running, till it's not. Great purchase and planning on getting another for upstairs.

Works great. It does make a little noise and generates a little heat, but that's normal, as the internals work similarly to an air conditioner or refrigerator. Got it on sale and bought the extended warranty. Pulls a lot of water out of the air in the basement and the difference in humidity level is very noticable. Has to be emptied every couple of days, but the amount of water I dump out is amazing every time.

For $149, this size humidifier is decent for the size and price. The only cons that it has is it is difficult to connect a hose to it and if you do empty it via the container, it is difficult to empty and can easily spill during the process. Otherwise, it works great, the noise level isn't too loud, and again is the cheapest option for a dehumidifier of its size that I've found online.

Very quiet operation performs well at attaining the humidity set point. There are also a number of nice features on how you want this dehumidifier to operate. Continuous, automatic - shuts off when set point is achieved and back on when humidity rises, or you can set a time schedule for it to run.

It's astonishing to see how much moisture this unit pulls from the air. The filling of the tank really puts in perspective how humid the air can get. Our humidity readers show a 20% decrease in humidity, which when it gets to 60% is dangerous for our equipment. The tank is great too, so we don't have to punch holes in our walls for drainage.

So far so good. I have had this dehumidifier for about 2 months. It’s relatively quiet and pretty good at extracting moisture from the air. I do not have any complaints except the size of the reservoir. I have to empty it 1-2 times per day. But, the humidity levels in my basement are pretty high. I am happy I purchased it.

Don't buy a house without a master bathroom door!

Some genius thought it would be a good idea to design master bedrooms with master bathrooms that have no door! Open concept these geniuses call it. Well, even with bathroom fans, the steam gets into my master bedroom and collects water everywhere, causing mildew everywhere, destroying my furniture and other niceties.
To help save my new niceties, I got the idea to buy this dehumidifier, and it was the best idea I had since I figured out it was a bad idea to have a bedroom and bathroom tied together without a door!
This is a fine unit! Not too loud, not too hot, not too ugly, not too expensive.
I love it!

Dehumidifier Works As Expected for Less

Bought this as a deal of the day sale price in May 2020. Use in my basement & it does a great job. The unit is kind noisey but don't notice that much since we do not go in the basement a lot. The continous setting will do auto humidity but if it's off you can set it manually. The hose hook up is a must unless you want to empty the bucket each time. This is a gravity drain set up so the dehumidifer will need to be higher than the drainage system or drain it will dump the water into. Make sure to check the air filter once a month, it's on the opposite side of the bucket. This is a solid unit, especially when it's on sale. (which is often)
