The buttons feel like they will last a long time. I use this to keep an enclosed space with a well pump tank and associated plumbing dry. I do notice that the "swing" (i.e. the variation from the specified humidity setting) is large - I set the unit to keep my space at 50%, but it swings down to 35% and up to 60%. I assume this is done to avoid cycling the unit on and off too frequently.

I like that I can easily .I've this unit from bath to kitchen to garage. The pint collection area is accessable, and not too heavy to empty. I would recommend as a in home and garage unit. I am pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this to replace an old dead Haier unit that I had in my garage. Took about a week to arrive, brought it home, and no dice. The unit ran and ran and barely pulled any moisture. Obviously the compressor was not coming on. Took it back and ordered a replacement with no hassle. Waited another week and the second one finally came. This one has been running for about a week and is doing great. So far so good... will keep my fingers crossed. Nice unit overall but the water bucket does not fit well and seems like a cheap design.
