I searched many brands for a cost effective dehumidifier. I bought this Insignia model from Best Buy I'm very pleased with my purchase and this model. Highly recommend don't be fooled by house brand this model goes up against all the name brands, much more affordable

There is a place as well to connect an actual house instead of coming with a cheap plastic tube for those in need to run it continuously. I only thing i don't like so far, is when i empty the tank, sometimes it takes extra time for me to line it up to get it back in for some reason.

Setting custom humility level so that the dehumidifier automatically cuts on and off is as not as friendly as it could be -- I am not sure if this feature works at all (Not a big deal).

I bought this as a second one to move between rooms while i have one main name brand one. This one is now my main one.

No complaints!

The back has a direct hose connection for constant dripping, though I don't use it, the reservoir is good enough. Also, has a handle for easy holding when emptying the water
