If you have a humidity problem and want an effective tool, this is it. The unit easily dehumidifies large rooms, has a large water reservoir, and doesn’t use too much electricity. The water reservoir can be tricky to remove but it is large and has a built in handle.

This machine produces a good amount of heat, so it may not be for you if you live in a VERY hot area. Keep in mind, this brand is made of other brands and some return parts. I had to straighten some of the fins in the back, brand new, to ensure there was good air flow. Still worth the price!

Seems to be doing well at keeping the basement dry and uses a lot less power. Not super quiet but thats OK. Connected the drain to a garden hose (its a standard fitting, no special hose required) and it drains into a floor drain so no bucket to empty.

I bought this for my mother in law for Xmas so I dont know how well it works yet. I did see that it has a spot to attach a hose (which is a standard garden hose size or washing machine hose size but NOT INCLUDED) for easy draining instead of emptying a bucket 5 times a day.
