Great dehumidifier! At first, I was skeptical about it working, but after running it for just an hour, there was water in the bin. I was a bit surprised at how much water it pulls out. I don't run it too much, but enough daily to see plenty of water sucked out.

I really like this product b it doesn’t come with a drain hose. It’s pretty annoying to manually drain the full tub every day. I’m trying to find an alternative to replace it but the specs are really confusing so i don’t know exactly what to get.

Can't say much about this unit. It is winter in Minnesota, so next summer will be when it comes out of the box. I will say it was shipped quickly, and the container was in good condition when it was delivered.

This was said to be a Best Buy (house) brand and on sale. As a replacement to a Hisense model of the same capacity, it is physically larger and seemed to have a higher 'noise' level. It is working fine.

The first season of use was great. Humidity in the basement was kept the proper level. After a winter of proper storage, and after the warranty period expired, the second season of use was a bust. The unit turned on but the compressor never did. Only one season of use is pretty expensive.

We have a very damp basement and were looking to upgrade our dehumidifier that was >10 years old. This one was a great value. You can tell it’s working hard —it fills up daily. Plan to attach the hose to the back to avoid having to empty, just haven’t gotten around to it. Nice option to have.

It does what its supposed to but it feels like its cheaply made and there are some design issues. Removing the tank is difficult because it sticks and needs to be forced out. Once removed it doesnt stand up strait and will spill if not held. Putting the tank back in is also an issue and it has to be forced as well. That being said, it does do what it is supposed to do. So if you're looking for a cheaper option, this is for you

Love it! only thing I hate is how short the power cord is, I had to use an extension cord to reach an outlet. Also it’s noisy, But it does its job.

Very nice product. Predictable, solid and reliable controls. Easy to empty water tank. Insignia makes yet another winner of a product.

Technically works, it did pull a lot of water out of the air. The 50 pint tank was already halfway full after running it for about 4-6 hours in the morning...but it couldn't get the humidity below 50% even on the turbo mode and it was dumping tons of hot air into the house. The actual compressor is quiet too, but the fan is really noisy even on the regular non turbo mode.

Allergies are gone and the air seems eassiwe to breathe in.

I caught this on sale and am very happy with the purchase it works like a champ! Only reason not 5 star is that is slightly loud, but other than that it has been awesome.

Seems to be working well. These typically don't last very long these days but you get what you pay for. Buy on sale and use savings to buy the extra warranty!

Dehumidifier has several settings to adjust to the needs of the location. We have placed it in the living room where it captures most humidity. Our setting is to assist the central air by maintaining humidity low to none.

The first 3 days i had it on I had to dump it quite often but now that its caught up its only like twice in about a day & half. Two bad things... its a bit loud and it wont let me set the % even tho theres a way to adjust it.

Have had it nice 2022 and has been running almost nonstop with absolutely ZERO issues. Very happy with this purchase!

OMG such a great dehumidifier, almost works too good. I have this running in my basement and I have to empty it 2 times a day. I really have to set up the hose so it's a direct drain, but then how will I get my alone time?

I purchased this on sale to replace a recalled 70-Pint Frigidaire/Electrolux dehumidifier in my sunroom. After using it about a month, the only complaint I have is that the bucket is somewhat difficult to remove and replace.

Very fast at dehumidifying. But also blows out a lot of hot air. Make my rooms hotter by 2 degrees F. Would recommend using in chill and humid days.

Dehumidifier works well. Bucket holds a lot of water and has auto shut off when it's full In a humid room it may need to be emptied once a day. Comes with an optional drain plug, so it will empty itself and no lugging the full water basket to empty it.
