I would Live to give this 5 stars as it was pulling all the moisture from the air but the heat that it exhausted it a little too much. This is my first Dehumidifier so I'm not quite sure how warm these blow. I was not too happy about the noise level as well.

Does an unbelievable job. Fantastic value. If you have a basement get this.

Decided to purchase this at the end of the summer season. Won't be able to use it until next summer. But the reviews are all good and am hopeful that this will be a good experience. First time purchasing an insignia dehumidifier.

One month plus in and the unit is performing well. No surprises on operation or noise level. Like most things it blends into the background. I would highly recommend the Geek Squad coverage, hassles are minimized. I hope to update by end of summer.

Overall dehumidifier works very well. I have hose hooked up to floor drain, occasionally for unknown reason the bucket will fill up with water and will have to manually dump out that water.

Compared to other major name brands out there, this is the best value for the buck!

Perfect. Should have purchased long ago for our basement

I had a little problem out of the box. The humidity level adjustment did not work, but the unit did. So I ran it for 2 days, unplugged and re-plugged it and, knock on wood, everything works fine.

I initially enjoyed this dehumidifier. Did the job, the tank would fill up with water during humid times (used in our basement). Then 2 years later, can't get below 60% humidity which means its barely doing anything at this point. Filter is clean, did everything per manual but no dice. I regret throwing away the old one we had.

I bought another one after being happy with the first purchase. We have a large basement with a number of rooms so really needed 2. I waited for the dehumidifier to go on sale again before I bought a second one. I thought it was a great price for a 50 pint dehumidifer

I feel it needs to be emptied more than I thought.

Bought two. One for the house and one for the dirt floor basement. Worked quickly to bring down humidity in the house, bu unexpectedly exceptionally well on constant use in the basement. I can’t speak for longevity yet but two months so far and still working fine.

When it comes to moisture removal, this is a beast. I gave it 4 starts because it is a little noisy, so if you have it in an area where you will be close by, it will be annoying. But in a garage,again, it is a beast.

I purchased this to replace a 20 year old working dehumidifier. So far it's been working well. I have the drain hose attached but's still filling the reservoir with some water. Not sure if that's normal.

I bought 2 of this stuff already. Basically it is a good product. The only issue is that the connector to auto drain pipe is not well designed, which make it not easy for the small size pipe. Currently only garden water hose works.

Worked great out of the box. Set it up in my basement and filled the tank several times. Basement smells way better and the air is pleasant to breath. Second insignia brand I bought for home product use. You can’t bear the price!

pro: pulls a lot of water from basement really fast cons: the tank fills up too high before the auto shutoff comes on, making it very heavy and difficult to remove the tank without water spilling . The tank is already very awkward to remove from unit when empty, and very difficult to push it back in. No outside handle to assist in removal and no easy way to place it back. No thought went into the engineering. Do not recommend for anyone who cannot connect a hose to run across basement to drain

This dehumidifier is incredibly effective in removing excess water from our basement, which is also my husband's home office. It keeps the damp smell away as well. Highly recommend!

A great product so far! I only wish the water bucket was level when you pulled it out to empty it. You have to tilt it up in the front and I always spill just a little bit.

I bought this on a Deal of the Day promotion and I saved over $50 on comparable products. It’s a great humidifier and I do not have any complaints. If you shop Best Buy often make sure to check out the deal of the day promos and be ready to get a great deal.
