I bought another one after being happy with the first purchase. We have a large basement with a number of rooms so really needed 2. I waited for the dehumidifier to go on sale again before I bought a second one. I thought it was a great price for a 50 pint dehumidifer

My house has really high ceilings so the heat would get trapped up there. This really helped our situation.

I purchased this to replace a 20 year old working dehumidifier. So far it's been working well. I have the drain hose attached but's still filling the reservoir with some water. Not sure if that's normal.

When it comes to moisture removal, this is a beast. I gave it 4 starts because it is a little noisy, so if you have it in an area where you will be close by, it will be annoying. But in a garage,again, it is a beast.

Bought two. One for the house and one for the dirt floor basement. Worked quickly to bring down humidity in the house, bu unexpectedly exceptionally well on constant use in the basement. I can’t speak for longevity yet but two months so far and still working fine.

This dehumidifier is incredibly effective in removing excess water from our basement, which is also my husband's home office. It keeps the damp smell away as well. Highly recommend!

Worked great out of the box. Set it up in my basement and filled the tank several times. Basement smells way better and the air is pleasant to breath. Second insignia brand I bought for home product use. You can’t bear the price!

pro: pulls a lot of water from basement really fast cons: the tank fills up too high before the auto shutoff comes on, making it very heavy and difficult to remove the tank without water spilling . The tank is already very awkward to remove from unit when empty, and very difficult to push it back in. No outside handle to assist in removal and no easy way to place it back. No thought went into the engineering. Do not recommend for anyone who cannot connect a hose to run across basement to drain

I bought 2 of this stuff already. Basically it is a good product. The only issue is that the connector to auto drain pipe is not well designed, which make it not easy for the small size pipe. Currently only garden water hose works.

Hope this one works. Bought the Insignia 50 pint dehumidifier in 2022 and it worked fine throughout the summer into early fall. Unplugged it and set is aside for the winter only to find that, when plugged in again for the 2023 season, the motor ran but the unit failed to draw any water from the basement. Since it was still under warranty, Best Buy replaced it. Fingers crossed that the same thing doesn't happen next year.

I bought 3 of these and they work great. We have a stucco home with a basement and these things help with moisture big time.

A great product so far! I only wish the water bucket was level when you pulled it out to empty it. You have to tilt it up in the front and I always spill just a little bit.

Bought this dehumidifier for the basement to help regulate the humidity. It works well for my purpose.

I bought this on a Deal of the Day promotion and I saved over $50 on comparable products. It’s a great humidifier and I do not have any complaints. If you shop Best Buy often make sure to check out the deal of the day promos and be ready to get a great deal.

So far, so good. My luck with Dehumidifiers hasn’t been good. Seems they last only about 3 years.

This dehumidifier is a great value for the money. While it maybot have all the bells and whistles as a more costly brand...it works well.

Our old dehumidifier was getting tired so bought this on sale at Best Buy. I like the Insignia brand and price is about 1/2 of other national brands so figured even if doesn't last as long you can buy another and still break even. So far, so good.
