Buyer beware

When the item was delivered to my porch the box was destroyed and the bottom of the box was missing, exposing this product to the wet cement on my porch. In addition, some parts were missing.

Leaking

I’m now around the 16 months and have this non stop leaking problem as well

Stay Away

Only ran them for about 5 months and they stopped working. 2nd unit was a warranty replacement for the first one. I would stay away from this unit unless you are prepared to replace it frequently or you consider the Geek Squad replacement plan. My backup unit, a 15 year old Goldstar, is working like a champ.

Don't buy unless you want your house to be hotter

LEAKY DEHUMIDIFIER

It started leaking everywhere after 1 month and the sensor for it to turn off stopped working so it just collected water. Almost destroyed our apartment

Quit after 18 months light use

I'll never buy this brand again!

Fan runs continously but there's no more water in the bucket. I have a Kenmore in another room and it's been working perfectly for the last 6 years. Too bad best buy return policy is only 2 weeks. Now I'm stuck with it. Insignia is an unreliable product. I'll never buy again.

Do Not Waste Your Money! Insignia = Junk.

No big deal, I cleaned it and stored it away until May ‘22 (now) when humidity would increase again. Out of storage and back on for another season, it’s not collecting any water even though my humidity level is 69%. All it’s doing is running up my electric bill 24 hours a day. Emailed Insignia for warranty repair and got no response???

Buy beware......does not last!

I contacted Best Buy and they want me to carry the unit to the store and pay to have it repaired. No sympathy! I buy a lot of my appliances from Best Buy. Not anymore......raise the bar on your customer service already! It's 2021 and we're in the middle of a pandemic.

Will Break in Less than a Year

I've owned two and both have iced up within the 1 year warranty. Luckily, I was able to return them for a refund. Either get the extended warranty or buy another brand.
