    Dehumidifier stopped working.

    Almost two years from the date of purchase the Dehumidifier stopped working this week. It doesn't collect any water in the tank. It just keeps running and nothing else. No error messages. It was used in a finished basement and was always serviced by cleaning filter and removing water in the tank. I can't recommend a product that breaks in two years.

    Worked great for about 4 months when we finally plugged it in and set it up. Then it frosted over and no water came out again. Very disappointed that it only lasted a couple months.

    Bought this dehumidifier last year and it worked for 11 months then compressor quit working. Still under warranty, so I got another one. Hopefully this one last longer than the previous unit.

    I bought this humidifier two years ago, and the compressor stopped working with little use only during the summer months. The Insignia customer service would not repair it unless the humidifier is within the one-year warranty period. No more insignia products for me. Total garbage.

    Stopped working after not even 2 years. Weird noises and screen not working anymore. The product is not cheap and this should not happen. I don’t recommend, go with other brands.

    Not quite 16 months old and it has started leaking on the floor. This one replaced the previous one that started leaking after about 10 months of use. Units do not last long enough to make it a worthwhile purchase if you have to replace it about once a year.

    We used it for two summers with no issues. Went to turn it on this summer and it just runs and runs and doesn't pull any water from the air. I made sure to unplug it and cover it for the winter, but it did not matter. Now we have to buy a new one.

    I would give it a 0 if that was an option. It has been “running” for a month and hasn’t collected a drop of water into the container. There is visible water in the room so it should be able to collect something after that long. Don’t waste your money! Buy something else.

    I had an Insignia 35-pint dehumidifier which was filling up so fast that I bought a second unit, this time the 50-pint one. Both units were very noisy, and both units were less than two years old when they started leaking water to the floor.
