    This unit lasted less than 2 years. My previous one, a Frigidaire, lasted 7 years with no issues. Guess what, I just purchased a Frigidaire again to replace this Insignia.

    I’m not sure if this even works, to be honest. It worked the first day but hasn’t pulled much water - barely any - in the weeks since. I should probably return it and will arrange for that now,

    STOPPED WORKING AFTER 2 MONTHS PAST WARRANTY PERIO

    Stopped working after 1 year and 2 months, how convenient just past the warranty period. The unit still blows but it does not collect/drain any water. The humidity is set to 40 and it doesn't get below 67% humidity. I would not recommend purchasing this unit.

    Not Quite What I Expected

    The dehumidifier was not of the best quality. The water bucket did not accurately fit the back into the drawer after my first use; possibly didn't fit initially and I just didn't pay attention.

    Bought one year ago on June 2, 2022. Worked great for one summer. Turned on yesterday and doesn’t work. Past the one year warranty period so I assume no coverage. Wouldn’t recommend the purchase of this humidifier.

    Thought i would have a summer with less humidity, but this dehumidifier has not worked since I brought it a total waste of money. I have not had good luck with insignia products at all

    Re=boxed, humidity adj. buttons inoperative

    Works ok, however unit came in a damaged re-taped box and humidity level control buttons to adjust your preference are completely inoperative right out of the box. So stuck with constant on or 51-52% when it shuts down on it's own. I'm going to have to return and now will be a hassle. Insignia seems to always be a gamble.

    New product out of the box plugged in and nothing just error mode. Not functioning....took it back to Best Buy and customer service guy said “yeah sorry sometimes this happens” .....just like that. Sorry, very disappointing insignia product sold by Best Buy. Whose fault is it? Insignia for making a junk product or Best Buy for selling it? I would say both......anyway overall thumbs down, stay away!

    Lasted 2 years. Recently noticed that it no water is accumulating in the tank and has been running for days. I don't live in an area with extremely high humidity.

    I bought this dehumidifier in July 2021 and it lasted exactly one year before it stopped collecting water and became useless. Right after the warranty expired. Planned obsolescence at work. Do not recommend.

    Broke after 23 months. Light use during 3 months out of a year. Insignia support post warranty is awful. Highly do not recommend.

    Not able to set desired Humidity level, too loud..

    I was too excited when it’s delivered, but really disappointed it’s not able to set humidity level. It looks like that’s already spoiled. Also too loud when it’s running. I don’t recommend to buy this one.

    Worked great last summer. This summer the fan turns on but the compressor does not run so it doesn’t remove any humidity from the air.
