This dehumidifier works great. It draws out a lot water. However, l have three complaints about it. It makes some sort of vibration noise, the bucket is hard to push back in place after you empty it and the plastic on the power button in already showing signs of cracking.

Overall this works well. The bucket doesn’t slide in and out easily. It was a good deal and the second one of this brand we have purchased.

Works, but when the compressor shuts off it makes an annoying “clunk”. When reinstalling collection buck it doesn’t slide right in. You have to Jimmy it in.

It worked fine for two summers and then it went kaput due to a refrigerant leak, typical of these types of dehumidifiers. Make sure you buy an extended warranty.

I bought this dehumidifier in August of 2020 for my basement. It worked great and met my needs. Unfortunately, it just died a week ago. It runs, but the compressor gets real hot and shuts off and the unit no longer collects any water. This is the second dehumidifier I've bought (other was a different brand) which died in less than 3 years. Very disappointing that these pieces of junk don't last longer. They should provide a much longer warranty, but it is obvious why they don't . I've learned my lesson and will be buying extended warranties on a dehumidifier moving forward.

Have used this product now for several months and am very pleased with it.

The dehumidifier works well pulling moisture from the air. Very pleased with the overall operation. Disappointed with the amount of heat that the unit emits. Very disappointed with the design of the water bucket. There is no good way to empty the bucket without splashing water everywhere. Huge miss by the designers.

This is quite an efficient dehumidifier and easy to use

This Insignia dehumidifier stopped working after usage only for two summers of two months each — it worked only four months of total time. The compressor runs but the coils do not cool (no humidity removed from air). The refigerant has leaked out. After limited usage & good off season storage, Best Buy should stand behind their product & its manufacturing defects. We called them, were transferred seven times, were promised a callback from a manager (no one called), & wrote the executive team at HQ (with no respnse). But they ignore their shortcuts & hide behind their limited one (calendar) year warranty. It is their legal right to ignore this issue, but I (already an owner of several Insignia prodicts) will never again buy one of their private label Insignia products. Junk! Now off to the recycle center with this waste of a unit.

It does exactly what it’s designed to do. Not a bad price for comfort.

Well, it quit working recently. When I use it, the coil will just freeze up, almost no water is going in the bucket. ... I clean the air filter regularly and even clean the water bucket, it is kept in the basement where the temp is around 75 degrees all year, I kept the machine around 50 percent humidity to prevent overworking it, so it can take a break every few hours. I believe some other reviewers are having the same problem as mine... With only one year warranty on this item... it is surely going to fail out of warranty. My advise is that avoid this dehumidifier if you want it to last more than two years. Maybe better luck with other brands.

It works real good the water runs down the drain continuously and really a good buy.

This was an upgrade replacement for a different product whose auto shut off didn't work. Unpacking it I noticed an extra piece in the tank and it was the float that had broken off. Problem is this was the float that needed to be in place for the unit to run. It was just a little peg supporting a large float. Fortunately I returned and got a different brand. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm.

The dehumidifier pulls moisture from the house, but it blows warm air back into the room. I am definitely considering returning it.
