Sometimes it turns on just fine, but other times the blue light flashes and then stops and the TV stays black. When this happens, the only way to get it to turn on is by unplugging it and trying again. I don't know if this is a frequent problem with this brand, or if this particular tv has a problem. I'm not sure if we will be returning it or not. The tv is decent when it turns on.
