Posted .I’m glad you’re enjoying the television. I believe that you may be having an issue where the incoming signal is not the same 16x9 aspect ratio that high definition televisions display. This is always true for older programs or programming (that existed before high definition) and usually true of analog transmissions regardless of when created. There is no way to change the incoming source from a 4x3 picture into a 16x9, as they are different shapes, but the TV does have an “Aspect” feature which you can utilize by pressing the * button on the remote control, which will allow you to go into Advanced Video/Picture size to adjust the way the incoming signal shows on the screen in order to enhance your viewing experience. - Jason, Insignia Product
