I took back the HISENSE Roku-TV because of the horrible pic quality and picked up the 55" Insignia Roku-TV and believe me I have had Samsung 60HZ and 120HZ and the pick was horrible so I took them back, this is only a 60hz but looks a heck of a lot better than the Samsung 60 and 120hz, Insignia is vast improved and comes with a year parts and labor and I compare it to LG who has one of the best pics.

I was purchasing a large TV for a meeting room when I chose this. I don't need the Roku function but liked the picture and price. After setting it up I decided this will be the next TV I buy for home. The only down side is it takes a few seconds longer to turn on than I would like for regular TV viewing.

I read a few reviews before I bit the bullet. This was purchased as an upgrade from our 10 year old panasonic plasma which I handed down to family. We work a lot so rarely watch tv but for whatever its worth this tv is worth the bucks. Setup was flawless. The speakers are slighly above average and the picture is great. I believe the tiny Roku remote could be bigger but it does everything it should. I will pair my Uverse remote with it anyway. I ran my Xbox One console on a few games and did not notice any lag or negatives. The blacks are black enough, brightness is excellent and the colors are vivid. If this lasts as long as my plasma did I will be one happy guy.

I am a new homeowner. I stuck my 8 year old 40" LCD TV in our relatively long living room. My S.O. and I were stuck squinting at a small, dim picture and hooking up my laptop to the tv to watch Netflix. We decided we were in the market for a new TV. I was on the look out for a 50+ in. Smart TV and this model fit the bill perfectly. The Roku UI has been an amazing, user-friendly experience. The picture quality for the price is exceptional, as well. Nothing but thumbs up and reccomendations for this model!

Have been looking to upgrade to a bigger TV replacing a 42"Panasonic plasma still working good had since 2007.Wanted to go to 50-55 inch with new set.I've been reading reviews and watching the ads for a while . Finally went into Best Buy on 6/20/15 and was quite pleased to see this Insignia in person even though it was 60hz refresh rate everything else was a plus.Easy set up and factory settings were good out of the box.Couldn't believe how good it looked at home with HD .plus only payed $549 on sale.Time will tell good so far

I bought this tv because it was the cheapest option. Standard smart tv's don't have an app for viewing my Tablo so I needed either an external device or a built in Roku. The picture was unimpressive at first, but I discovered that is a problem with the roku power more than the tv, as I played a bluray on it and the picture was quite good. I think the hardware in the internal roku is less powerful than the roku2 I have for our other tv. The speakers are also ok, not loud but no rattle or buzz. Overall it is a good tv for the money, and if a tv is going to need to be replaced in a few years regardless of the brand, then I'm happy with this one.

I love this TV. I've had it for almost a year. It is simple to set up and connect. There are many ROKU channels to choose from. The sound is okay, but I recently added one of the less expensive soundbars. It improved the sound dramatically and makes the music stations pretty awesome. The picture quality is good for the price. I haven't had any problems with the TV. I am not a gamer, but have used the TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, as well as music stations and have experienced no streaming issues. I would buy this TV again.

Roku used as the Smart TV Application is the best thing since sliced bread. One simple remote controls the TV sound, changing antenna stations, and moving between streaming channels. Goodby to the 2 or 3 remotes to watch TV. Oh, and the picture and sound is as good or better then others in its class......

I have purchased 2 of them and both are excellent products. I'm truly enjoying the big screens feeling like being at the movies. The sound quality is great and the color is excellent!

You really get more than what you pay for. This Tv has great quality and picture is amazing. The roku feature is great as its built-in, so no fuss putting in an adapter etc... This is a smart tv so you are able to hook up hard drives,computers,and usb drives. So to wrap it up you pay @$500.00 and get the quality of a $2,000.00 tv. Definitely a great buy!!

The TV met my expectations! I don't care for 4K or 3D. All I needed is big flat screen TV and built-in Roku. So far, so good.

I just purchased this TV this week. I like the navigation and visual appearance of this pre-installed roku better than our mobile roku that we were using on the previous tv. The picture quality on this tv is definitely 4 star - very impressed for the price! My only complaint is that the sound quality could be better - it's pretty underwhelming and actually worse than our 7 year old vizio. Overall, this is a decent buy!

I was looking for an updated TV for my living room after three weeks of searching. At first, I was apprehensive at first because it was a Roku but apparently having a Roku allowed me to have all my favorite channel icons on the main screen, such as cable, Netflix, Hulu, HBO etc.

Got this tv for the bedroom. For the price and for Roku...could of not ask for anything plain and simple from a smart tv. The pic quality is not so perfect when viewing channel on cable, but when using Roku apps...pic quality comes out good. But mostly use it to connect my laptop to this tv. Perfect for doing all my financials and spreadsheets. Perfect screen size.

great price, great picture, easy to set up and use

I have had this TV about a week. Once you get it configured and the contrast changed it is dynamite. If you're looking for a smart TV and not a 4k Ultra HDTV you can't go wrong with this TV.

I've had this TV for about 4 months now and I absolutely love it! The built-in Roku works perfectly and I use it just about everyday streaming tv shows/movies through Amazon Prime Video and now watching MLB.tv for a fraction of the price from what I paid through my cable company last year. I can't say enough good things about this tv, especially at this price!
